14、 and they didnt have very much time to think about improving teaching.He decided to teach the teachers and the children about good ways of learning English. It was hard work! He introduced good ways to them including reading for forms, listening for forms, reading aloud and imitation writing, but a

15、lot of the teachers and students refused to use the new ways. Jamie showed them why the old way wasnt good. In the end, when Jamie persuaded them to try his ways of learning English, they liked it!Jamie talked to the government. He told them they needed to ban bad ways from schools, train the teache

16、rs, educate the children and spend more money on school equipments. A lot of parents, teachers and children agreed with him. The newspapers wrote articles about him, and a TV programme showed his visits to the school. Jamie is a teacher whose ideas are changing school English teaching all over China.
