Stage One Revision
Brainstorm.
T:In the last lesson, we knew about Craig and Free the Children. What do you think of Craig? Can you say something about him?
Stage Two: Pre-writing
1. Ask the students to complete the invitation to one of Kangkang’s friends. Make sure the students know about the elements and the format they should pay attention to when writing an invitation
2. Ask the students to preparing to write an invitation for the parents’ meeting.
Stage Three: While-writing
1.Show the information in Section D-2. Ask the students to write an invitation for the parents’ meeting.
Stage Four: Post-writing
1. Ask the students to exchange the invitations and check them in pairs.
2. Show some of the students’ invitations. Correct the mistakes or improve them.
3. Give the students a possible version.
4.Review the Grammar and functions of this topic.
5. Show the poster in 1a and ask questions about it.
6. Talk about the poster with the students.
Stage Five:Summarizing
1. Read & recite Grammar and Functions.
2. Finish WB of Section D.
