（1）、学会讨论各种学习方法和策略。
(2)、找出适合自己的学习方法,并会评价某种学习方法的优劣。

Make the challenges and find the solutions.
5.教学策略：
（1）话题讨论——What things are difficult for you when you are learning the English ? 从学生的实际学习情况入手，引出本课的重难点。
（2）小组合作学习——讨论学习英语的困难和解决的办法。
6.教具准备：radio tape exercise sheets
二、前置作业（自主学习内容）：
1、预习：各个部分中的语言材料
 要求：圈出新词 标出读音 划出短语 译出解释 摘出疑难
2、翻译短语

Step 1 Revision
Get the students to say out the learning challenges and solutions.
Step 2 Reading
First ask the students to look through the passage to find out the challenges the writer had:
a. He couldn’t understand every word.
b. He couldn’t always make complete sentences.
c. He found English grammar was difficult.
Step 3 Writing
3b. Let the students write the letter themselves then check the answer.
Step 4. 2c. Making dialogues
    Work in pairs or groups. Discuss first. Then make a short dialogue.
    Have the students share their work.
Step 5：Class show
Give ss time to show their dialogues in class.
