1 Filling blanks
To check your studies, you will first fill in the blanks with the words given on page 7. Then make your own sentences with the same words.

2 Reading and circling
Turn to page 7, and read the passage, circling the inventions on the right.
While reading, try to cut the sentences/, blacken the predicates, darken the connectives and underline the useful expressions.
Now you will read the passage once again and copy the expressions into your Expressions Books.

To end this period, let’s look at the two pictures and say something about them. Try to use will in your sentences.
