1 Filling blanks
To check your studies, you will first fill in the blanks with the words given on page 7. Then make your own sentences with the same words.

2 Reading and circling
Turn to page 7, and read the passage, circling the inventions on the right.
While reading, try to cut the sentences/, blacken the predicates, darken the connectives and underline the useful expressions.
Now you will read the passage once again and copy the expressions into your Expressions Books.
