Unit5 Why do you like pandas
Analysis of the Teaching Material
【Curriculum requirements】
In this unit students will learn to describe animals and express preferences about the animals. Students will also learn to use the patterns “Why do you like …? Because they are…, Where are the lions from? They are from…”to talk about the animals. After learning the unit, students will get to know more about the animals and protect the animals around them.
Analysis of the Teaching Material:
In this class, we will train students’ reading ability, make students find out and solve the problems by themselves. Also, students will know the elephant is one of the Thailand’s symbols. Let students know there are many animals in danger now, we should protect them.

Thai Elephant Day
Sentences: Our first flag had a white elephant on it.

Through the passage, students will know there are many animals in great danger now, they must do something to save them and protect them.

2. Practice the dialogue talking about the animals.
