PEP BOOK 3 Unit 6 Meet My Family A Let’s learn and Let’s play Chengguan Primary School Hu Lanrong 教学理念:用中学,学中用;用英语做事情,用英语描述自己的亲人。 教学内容:A、Let’s learn Let’s play 学情分析: 四年级小学生好奇心、好胜心很强,学习动机在很大程度上由周围环境事物的显著变化唤起。教师在设计教学活动时要兼顾活动的目的、意义及趣味性。 教学目标: 1、能听说认读三会单词:family parents uncle aunt baby brother cousin 2、能用英语简单介绍自己的家庭:Hi, meet my family. They are …This is… 3、培养学生积极参加英语课堂教学活动,并获得愉快的情感体验;引导学生热爱、关心自己的亲人。 教学重、难点: 1、听说认读单词:family parents uncle aunt baby brother 2、 理解parents uncle aunt cousin等词的含义及发音。 3、利用所学知识描述自己的家庭成员。 教学准备: 学生准备本课生词卡片及自己亲人的相片。 教师准备课件、Amy的头饰。 教学方法: 1、用学生的全家福激起他们表达和学习的欲望。 2、有趣的听、说、读、写活动给学生提供了英语综合技能运用的平台。 3、小组合作、两两合作既保证了大班额学生课堂操练的时间,更培养了学生学会合作学习的习惯。 4、以学生为主体,指导学生注意掌握英语语音规则和句型结构特点。 5、开展小组竞赛。 教学过程: StepI. Warm-up 1.Greetings T: Hello. Nice to see you. Ss: Nice to see you ,too. … 2、Listen and do 3、Sing a song: Finger Family (Flash) 4、Look and answer “How many people are there in their families?” 5、How many people are there in Chen Jie’s family? What about Amy’s family? Who are they? StepII. Presentation 1、Learn parents Show multimedia courseware:Look, these are Amy’s family . Who’s the man? Amy’ s father. Who’s the man? Amy’s parent. Who’s the woman?...Who are they? Amy’s father and mother. Yeah, they are Amy’s parents.(先板书parent,然后适时板书parents,相信学生已理解了这两个词。) 2、Learn baby brother ①Who’s the girl? Amy’s sister. Who’s the girl? Amy. What about the baby? Amy’s baby brother. Is it tall? Is it cute? Are you a baby? Spell the baby brother.(板书baby brother) ② Describe the four pictures using baby: It’s a baby bird. It’s a baby cat. It’s a baby pig. It’s a baby fish. 3、Learn uncle and aunt ①Who’s the man? Uncle means…?(叔叔) Anything else? (伯伯、舅舅、姨夫、姑爷) Spell uncle. Is Amy’s uncle strong? What about the woman? ②Learn aunt in the same way. 4、 Learn cousin ①Who is the girl?(Amy’s sister.) Is this Amy’s father? No, so this is not Amy’s sister She is Amy’s cousin. (Read cousin after Teacher.) What’s cousin’s meaning? (表妹) Spell cousin. ②Let students look at John’s cousin photo and have them understand cousin can be a girl or a boy. Have a student say cousin’s meaning in Chinese(表兄弟、表姐妹、堂兄弟、堂姐妹). 5、听读正音 听录音,跟读新单词,要注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。 StepIII. Practice 1、Play a guessing game: ①my father and mother ② my mother’s brother ③ my father’s sister④ my uncle’s son(儿子) (该游戏很好,既能训练学生英语阅读理解能力、思维能力,又能激发他们参与欲望,因为每猜中一个就能获得一次抽奖的机会。) 2、Let students write the new words and Check each other and draw stars.(评价的方式应该是多元的,学生之间的互相评价更利于学生掌握新知,及时发现自己的不足) 3、Have students play cards 4 Read the lucky sentences.(每组各有一次朗读机会,读正确得一颗星,又是幸运句,就为本组赢得两颗星。学生参与的积极性高,效果好。) 5、Let students act Amy. ① Teacher acts Amy. ② Volunteers act Amy. 6、 Introduce own family ①Teacher introduces her family. ②Volunteers introduces their own family. ③ Work in group using their own family photos or pictures. StepIV Summary and homework 1、Introduce Amy’s family together by look at the blackboard. 2、 Value each other and count the stars of each group. StepV Homework 1、 Say “I love you.”to own family. 2、Sing Finger family for own family. 3、Listen and recite P58-60,family’s signature______. Teaching design on the blackboard 4
