The Burger Business-more reading教案The Rise of Chain Stores in China一、 章节分析（一）综述本章节是补充阅读材料，通过介绍连锁店在中国的产生，发展，进一步分析其产生的原因。本课的任务有两个：1. 对课文进行整体阅读，培养学生略读，扫读和细读的阅读能力。2. 掌握一些核心词汇，例如： rise, convenient, relaxing, well-lit, reasonable, chain store, be likely to do, be close to, pop into, pick up, meet ones needs, a wide range of 等3. 通过学习本文，了解连锁店在中国的发展情况。同时更进一步熟悉如何安排写这样的一篇文章。（二）阅读目标1 知识目标学习课文中重点词、词组、句型和语法。2 能力目标进一步提高学生的阅读理解能力和培养学生的阅读技巧。3 情感目标启发学生比较中国连锁店的兴起发展和外国的一些连锁店包括快餐，超市等进入中国后的发展情况，孰强孰弱，成功的方面和原因，进一步引发学生拥护民族产业的爱国主义情操。（三）教学方法采用任务型教学法组织教学，通过听说，小组讨论等具体活动，达到教学目的。（四）重点和难点词汇学习1) 核心词汇 l rise& raise l likelyl convenientl well-litl relaxingl reasonable2) 拓展词汇 l retaill bakery l retaill criterial atmophere3) 词组和短语l chain storel be likely to dol daily lifel pop intol pick upl meet ones needl be next door tol be close tol a wide range of l a new force4) 句型学习Sb./ sth. is likely to do sth. = It is likely that 二、 教学设计（Teaching Designs）教学内容教学实施建议教学资源参考Pre-reading 这部分是和课文的安排有着共同的模式的一篇文章，即由现象过渡到分析原因， 所以可以通过要求学生完成三项任务来自然过渡到对文章的阅读。 l 教师可向学生提供一些连锁店的名称 见链接1l 要求学生通过上网查有关一些连锁店的发展情况资料或直接收集利用一些来自这些连锁店的信息或是通过电话写信给这些连锁店的公共关系部门了解他们的产品及其公司发展史。l 请学生介绍其中一些比较典型的公司或是企业，并谈及他们为何能立足中国并且发展壮大起来。 While-reading 这是本课的主体部分，也是老师要处理的重点，既要引导学生学习重点词汇和句型，又要提高学生的阅读理解能力，培养学生的阅读技巧。l 要求学生带着问题快速通读全文，了解文章大意。l 要求学生分段阅读，针对各段采用不同手段进一步理解课文，然后总结段落大意，掌握文章的篇章结构。 l 培养学生猜词能力。在阅读的过程中，要求学生根句上下文，推测新单词的词意。完成课本第74页A2中的练习。授课中的主要内容见链接2Post-reading 这是课文的拓展部分。l 要求学生分组讨论，模仿课文的安排模式列出提纲，然后全班交流；l 要求学生在课后作业中创造性思维，发表自己的观点。 链接1说明：提供一些在中国的连锁店如面包店，超市的logo 链接2说明： 本部分建议采用任务型阅读教学的方法，提高学生阅读理解能力，培养学生的阅读技巧。提供一份教案。Step One Skimming-to get the general idea of the passage.Read through the text and answer the questions1.
