Warm up and revision a. Greeting b. Good morning! Boys and girls! I’m very glad to be here. Nice to meet you! c. Sing a song. (“ The more we get together”) d. T: The song is about friend. Do you have friends? Yes, everyone has many friends. We always play together and help each other. 2. Presentation a. CAI, T: Look, who’s he? He is a primary school student; he is the same age as you. He lives in a poor villiage. All of us live in city. He goes to school on foot, every day; he takes 2 hours to school. How do you go to school? b. CAI, T: They are all city children. Every weekend, they have many things to do. He plays computer games. He likes football, he often plays football on the playground. He likes reading; he reads story books every day. Look at this little boy, he likes watching TV, he watches cartoons every evening. Do you like cartoons? c. CAI, T: She lives in a village, too. Her kite is very beautiful. She often makes kites by herself. d. CAI, 第三人称单数的变化规则,学生总结归纳。 e. Play roles to practice. f. CAI, T: Look, you have 2 new friends. They are Alice and Ann. They are twins. They look the same. But they are very different. Let’s look at the cartoon, and find some difference, then fill in the blanks. g. Play the cartoon 2 times, let students look and write. h. Play the cartoon, let students look and repeat, explain new words “soon, excited”. i. Read the passage by themselves, and then answer the questions. 3. Practice a. Group work: read the story. b. Act it out. c. Write a short passage “My good friend”. d. Let volunteers read. e. CAI, “A friend in need is a friend indeed!” Let students make good friends and pressure friendship. 4. Homework a. listen to the tape, read the story. b. Describe your friends to your classmates. c.
