Starter Unit 4 My classroom 一、单元教学内容简析: 本单元教学内容以“我的教室”为中心,从教师对学生的指令语祈使句引入,主要围绕名词的复数和There be句型等相关内容展开,重点学习数词,名词复数构成及There be的相关句型的运用。学生在经过了前三个单元的学习后,已有了一些基本的英语习惯,并能较为熟练的运用。通过本单元的学习,可以进一步加深对英语这门语言在生活中的整体感知。同时,学习一些新的知识点。为此,教师可从说、唱、做、游戏等学生较为熟悉的活动入手,采用温故知新,以旧引新的教学手段,让学生通过体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式,最终达到综合能力的全面提高。 二、单元教学要求: A、知识目标: 1、理解祈使句的用法,会听句子执行命令。 2、掌握数词的用法,以及关于教室内物品名称的单词:teacher’s desk ,chair ,rubber, and so on. B、技能目标:掌握本单元的基本句型:“There is/are ……”,会用这些句子来描述自己所看 到的情况。 C、情感目标:培养学生的口语交际能力以及同学之间的合作精神。 三、 单元教学重、难点 1. 熟练掌握四会词汇和重点句型。 2. 正确运用祈使句以及它的否定形式。 3. 掌握数字的拼写规则。 4. 会用There be 结构造句并且知道它与have 的区别。 5. 掌握名词的复数 四、单元课时安排:共5课时 第一课时学习Welcome to the unit and Listening 第二课时学习 Speaking 第三课时学习 Reading 第四课时学习 Grammar 第五课时学习 Task 五、友情提示: 在教学中,教师尽可能的运用直观教具,如图片,实物,体态语等,为学生创设语言情境,帮助学生正确理解生词以及句子的含义。引导学生在交际中运用语言。 Starter Unit 4 The first period I. [Teaching content] Unit 4 Welcome to the unit and Listening. II.[Teaching aims and demands] 1、学习用祈使句来发出指令并做出响应,例如: Open the  windows,***. Close the door, ***. Clean the blackboard, ***. 2、礼貌用语的使用,例如: Close the door, please . 3、词汇: Open, door,please,close, stand up, sit down, bag, book, pencil box, clean, windows,desk, blackbord . III.[Important and difficult point] 能熟练应用祈使句型。 V.[preparation] A tape recorder, multi- media,practice paper V、[Teaching procedure] Step 1: Chant 导入(温故知新,活跃气氛) 1. Greetings: T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today?e Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m fine, too. Thank you. There’s a wonderful chant. Let’s chant it together, OK? Ss: OK. 出示chant歌词,边说边一起做动做。 I have some books Look, Look! I have one book. Look, Look! I have two books. Look, Look! I have some books. One, two, three, four, five! T: Wonderful! Thank you very much. Step 2. Presentation 1. Show the picture for the subject. (投影出示教室图片) T: Please look, what’s this? Ss: It’s a classroom. T: Yes, you are so clever. Where are you now? Ss: In the classroom. T: Right. Today, let’s learn Unit 4 My classroom. (板书) 2. Learn the new words. T: Can you tell me, what’s in the classroom? S1: Window. T: Yes, window. W-i-n-d-o-w, window.(师拿出写好window的卡片贴在窗户上并板书)Read it one by one and pay attention the pronunciation of “window” S2: Door. T: Great, door, d-o-o-r, door(师拿出写好door的卡片贴在门上并板书) (Teacher read and the students reapeat.) T: And what’s this? (T points to the blackboard) S3: It’s a board. T: Yes, but we can say it “blackboard.” Black,board, blackboard. (拿出写好blackboard的卡片贴在黑板上并板书) Boys read, girls read, and read it together. T: (T stand on the front and point to the desk) I have a big desk, and you have a small____. Ss: Desk. T: Good! Desk, desk, it’s a desk. D-e-s-k, desk. (T read and the students repeat with the rhyme.) 3. Game for practice words. T: Let’s play a game, OK? Ss: OK. T: There are some pictures on the screen. Let’s look, who can say it quickly. 4. Watch TV and learn the sentences. T: Now, let’s enjoy the video, and listen, what did they say? (播放一段录像,主要展示的是放学前,教师和同学在教室的对话。老师下达各种指令,学生对老师指令作出正确回答。) T: So much for this video, what did they say? Ss: Open the door, please. Close the door, please. T: very nice! Open the door. (T says the sentence while do the actions.) Open/close the door/windows/book/bag/pencil box… ( Teacher and the students do the actions.) Teach ‘Stand up, please. Sit down, please.’ as the same way. T: I’m cleaning the desk. (做擦桌子动作) What’s the meaning of ‘clean the desk?’ S: 擦桌子 T:Clever. Let’s do actions together. Step 3. Practice 1. Guessing game. T: Now, I have an interesting game for you. Look at XX, can you guess what XX will do? If you are right, XX will do the action, T: For example: Close the window, XX. (XX不动) S1:Clean the blackboard, XX. (XX不动) S2: Stand up, XX. (XX不动) S3: Open the door, XX. (XX做出相应动作) T:OK, you are so cute. Next, let’s practice in group. You four in a group, and one is XX, the others guess what will he do? OK? Ss: OK.(学生以小组为单位,进行猜动作游戏) T:OK, who’d like to show? 2. Let’s find T: Please take your paper in your desk. And find six words in this form. III.[Important and difficult point] Plural form of noun and the negative form of imperatives. IV.[preparation] A tape recorder, some objects, V、[Teaching procedure] Step 1: Revision 1. A game: listen and act T: Open your pencil-box, please. Ss: Do the action T: Clean your desk, please. … T: You did a good job. Thank you. Now let’s relax. Listen to a wonderful song. 2.Listen to a song: Ten little Indians Step 2. presentation 1. Show a big box and say: Look at eh box. What’s in the box? Can you guess? S1,S2,S3…: bag, pencil, book, ruler, pencil box…. Take out the things and put them on the desk if they guess out. 2. S: You’re so clever. But how many of them? How many bags are there on my desk?How many books are there in the bag? How many pens and pencils under the books?......Let’s count. S1: One S2: Two. … Write one, two,…..ten on the blackboard and teach them. One bag, two books, three pens…. Step 3. Look and say Learn part A on Page 21. Play the tape and get the students to repeat after the tape. Step 4. Practice 1. S: Let's count how many doors,windows, blackboards in our classroom. Ss count and answer. 2. group work: count how many boys and girls in each group one by one. Group 1(boys): S1: one, S2: two……S7: seven Group 1(girls):S1:one, s2:two….. Group 2….. …. Step 4. Presentation 1. Draw a school gate and a clock(9:00), and say: It’s nine. Go to school, please. Help the students to understand the meaning. Then change the time to 10:00 O’clock and say: It’s ten. Oh, the girl is late for school. So, the teacher says: ‘Don’t be late for school.’ Get the students to guess out the meaning. 2. Explain ‘Don’t =Do not’ and the negative form of imperative Step 5. T:Now, please look at the text, listen and read the text on Page 22. Ss: listen and read. T: which class is Lily in? Ss: In Class 1. 2. Greetings. 2. Retell the text of reading. 3. Revise numbers by ask What class are you in ? Wha’t your number? How many girls are there in our class?... 4. Revise the plural by ask What are they?... Step 2. Presentation 1. Ask a student: What’s in your pencil box? Let me see. Oh, there is a rubber in your pencil box. There are five pens in it too. Write the sentences on the blackboard. 2. Let the students read the text of reading, then get them to find out the sentences with numbers. There is a blackboard on the wall. There are sixteen boys and fourteen girls in my class. There are eleven numbers on the blackboard. There are fifteen desks in the classroom. There are eighteen rubbers and seventeen pencils. There are thirteen bags behind the chairs. On the teacher’s desk, there are nineteen new books. 3. Get the students to look at the pictures of Part A and say: These are people and things in an art room. Who are they? What are the things? Teach ‘poster, ball’. 4. Help the students of figure out the rules of changing a noun into plural form. (Guide them. If discussion is needed, let them do it in groups.) Step 3. Practice 1. Get the sudents to fill in the blank of Part A according to the pictures. Then check and read the text. 2. T: Look at your classroom carefully and tell me what’s in your classroom. Help them if they have any problem. 3. Help students finish Part B. Let them sum up the rule of the numbers with ‘-teen’ and ‘-ty’. And then get the students to read the words syllable by syllable to help them remember it easily. 4. Count from 1 to one hundred. 5. T: Let count how many students there are in our class.
