1.Teaching contents: Part A Letters and sounds
2.Teaching objectives:
A.To get the Ss to listen, say, read and write the letters: Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii.
b.To get the Ss to listen and say the words:egg,elephant,face, foot,green,gift,hand,hi,ice,ice-cream.
c.To get the Ss to listen and say the pronunciation of E/e/, F/f/, G/g/, H/h/ ,I/ai/ , finish the exercise “Listen and circle”.
d.Emotional target: to develop students’good habits of observation and imitation; to stimulate students' interest in learning English; to develop students’confidence in learning English.
3.Main and difficult points:
a.Main points: To master the four-skilled letters and two-skilled words.
b.Difficult points: the sounds of the letters.
4.Teaching aids: PPT,letter cards,word cards
5.Teaching Procedures:
Step1 Warming up & Revision
1.Greetings:Good morning! How are you?…
2.Sing a song“ABC songs”
3.Review the letters “Aa~Dd”
【设计意图】:用英语问候及齐唱“ABC songs”,为学生营造轻松、愉快的学习氛围;复习字母“Aa-Dd”,以旧引新。
Step2 Presentation & Practice
1.Letters and sounds
(1)Ee的学习
①T:We’ll meet new friends of letters’ family today. Look, what’s this? 学生从课件中的图片找出字母E,学生认读。
②PPT show pictures,学习单词egg,elephant并感知Ee在单词中的发音,读作/e/. Make the chant and do the actions:Ee, Ee, Ee /e/ /e / /e /, egg elephant.
③T:Let’s write“E”. Show your finger, follow me, one, two, three.在黑板四线格中示范,讲解笔顺,学生书空。T:Let’s write“e”.Show your finger, follow me, one. 在黑板四线格中示范,讲解笔顺,学生书空。
【设计意图】:通过PPT演示、教师示范等,引导学生观察、思考、模仿,整体感知字母Ee的形、音及在单词中的发音;儿歌的呈现符合三年级学生认知特点,朗朗上口,简单易学;字母Ee的书写落实了“写”的目标,自然过渡,水到渠成。
(2)同法教学字母Ff ,Gg, Hh, Ii.
2.Listen, repeat and chant.
【设计意图】:通过听说、模仿及说儿歌的形式等,使学生整体感知字母Ee,Ff ,Gg, Hh, Ii的形、音;在单词中学习字母,为以后的音标学习打下基础。
3.Listen and circle.
教师播放录音,学生圈出所听到的字母。
【设计意图】:“听音圈字母”活动,落实了“听”的目标,同时也使学生建构了字母的音-形的完整过渡,强化了对字母的整体感知。
Step3 Production
1.用卡片复习字母Ee, Ff, Gg, Hh, Ii. (教师说上一个字母,让学生说下一个字母或者教师说下个字母,让学生说上个字母)
2.Do a game of the letters(做字母操)
【设计意图】:“做字母操”活动,调动学生多种感官,他们个个热情高涨,全身心投入其中,使整节课进入又一高潮。
Step4 Homework
1.Copy the letters five times.
2.Listen and read the contents on Page 26.
