一、教学内容与分析
Just talk
本部分呈现的是在公共场所经常会遇到一些不遵守公共规则的人，通过同学们劝阻这些不良行为的场景，引出要学习的目标语言，让学生感知、模仿、学习和体验，最终引导学生能够运用目标语言：You must... You mustn’t...
主要目标语言：
You must wait for the green light.
You must take good care of young children.
You must keep off the grass.
You mustn’t cross the street now.
You mustn’t spit on the ground.
You mustn’t litter.
You mustn’t pick the flowers.
二、课前准备
1. 准备词组卡片或图片。
2. 准备一些公共标志的卡片，用于奖励给上课表现好的同学。
3. 准备不同公共场所的图片，用来让学生为不同场景制定规则。
4. 准备教学课件。
三、初学步骤与建议
Step 1: Warm-up/Revision
1)师生问好。
T: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls / class / children.
Class: Good morning / afternoon, Mr / Miss ...
T: Nice to see you again!
Class: Nice to see you, too!
2)讨论热身
教师向学生呈现几幅图片，提问题引导学生观察并谈沦听片内容What rules do good student often obey at school and at home?以复习已学和已知的有关校规和家规的短语和句型。
图片内容：listen to the teacher carefully, answer question actively, keep room clean, go to bed early。
Step 2: Presentation
1 )呈现情景。
出示课文主题图，教师引导学生观察课文主题图，并用已知词汇描述课文的主题图。
T: Today, our friends come to the street to have a social study. They see some bad things on the street. Look, what bad things can you see?
S: I see a girl pinking the flowers. / I see a child crying ...
2)学习Just talk。
教师引导学生对课文内容进行猜测What do you want to say to them?
学生可以先两人一组进行讨论，再回答问题。教师播放课文动画，学生通过视听寻找如下问题：What do our friends say to them?
教师在与学生核对答案的过程中借助动画的演示、图片效果对比和表演教授本课新短语cross the street, wait for the green light, spit on the ground, litter, keep off the grass, pick the flowers, take good care of young children.来帮助学生理解相应短语的含义，并在此过程中渗透You must…和You mustn’t…的用法。
3)归纳板书
在上一环节中，教师是按照课文中短语出现的先后顺序教授和板书的。现在，教师和学生一起将板书整理成Rules in Public Places的形式，并带领学生通读一遍。
Step 3: Practice
1)多种方式引导学生体验、模仿Just talk中语句。
2)引导学生分组读，复述文章，巩固语言。
3)搭配游戏。教师向学生展示与黑板上Rules in Public Places相关的标识。
例如：

Now, we know that in public places, we must obey these rules. And in these places, we can also see some signs like these. What do they mean? Can you match them with these rules?
学生将标识与其所表示的规则一一对应搭配。
4)拓展学习。教师向学生展示更多的标识，先和学生一起熟悉一些常见标识的含义，然后，请学生两人一组说说这些标识的含义，并说明人们为什么需要遵守相关的社会规则。
Step 4: Language use
在不同的公共场合我们要遵守不同的规则。教师给出park, museum hospital三个公共场所，学生以小组为单位，任选其一制定公共规则。
1. 学生四人一组，选择一个公共场所。
2. 学生以小组为单位为该场所制定公共规则。
语言支持：
You must …/ You mustn’t …/ cross the street / wait for the green light / spit on the ground / litter / keep off the grass / pick the flowers / take good care young children ...
3. 交流展示。
Step 5: Assessment
1)课堂教学过程中的评价。
教师引导学生在真实的情景中学会说以下规则：You must wait for the green light You must take good care of young children. You mustn’t cross the street now. You mustn’t spit on the ground. You mustn’t litter. You must keep off the grass. You mustn’t pick the flowers. 告诫他人“必须做某事”或警告别人“一定不要做某事”。
评价工具：
课堂教学中，建议老师们可以制作一些公共标志的卡片，作为评价的工具，可以激励学生积极参与课堂活动。
2)教师指导学生完成《活动手册》中的相关内容，并进行评价。
Step 6: Extended Activities
寻找五个公共标志或标语，记录下来，如果有不认识的词可以查辞典，下节课和同学们进行分享。
