Unit 1 How can we become good learners ?
内容与目标
教学重难点：In this unit, students learn to talk about how to study for a test and give advice to those who have difficulty in studying. To make students learn and grasp the key words and the target language.
教学目标：New teaching syllabus says Language is for communication. we should try to develop students’ four skills and lay special emphasis on speaking and listening. I think we should put the Ss in the first place. We should care for their learning process,theirdevelopment and their differences.We should get them to understand the western culture better. It is very important to improve their ability to discover, analyze and solve the problem. I’ll do my best to carry out the following theories:

1. I'll make the Ss the real masters in class while I act as director. Iwill help the Ss to have healthy personality.I'll provide them chances as many as possible to speak loudly and express themselves in English.

2. I'll pay more attention to cultivate their ability of using language I'll combine the language structure with the language functions. Let them know “Learning by using, learning for using. ”

3. I'll let Ss know “Teamwork is very important.” They should help each other to finish the tasks to share the joy of learning. I’ll let Ss receive some moral education

步骤一 Presentation Pre-task, 1a . Design a situation: If there is exam next week, how do you study for an English test? We know it is not easy to learn English well. Different students have different ways to learn it. 电子白板
步骤二 Listening While-task, 1b . .Call students attention to the speech bubble in the illustration .Get students to look at how each student is studying and talk about the pictures in pairs. 电子白板
步骤三 Practice Post-task 1c Guessing game and Competition: I’ll divide the class into four groups ,and show some pictures on the screen. Let them guess how the Ss study for the test. If anyone can guess correctly, I will give their group a star. In the end ,the group which has the most stars is winner 电子白板
步骤四 Consolidation and Extension .Small Competition : Make a list of ways of studying as many as possible by using verb by/with gerund in 2 minutes. Then let’s have a look which group will make the most. 电子白板
步骤五 Summary Let them sum up what we have learned in this class. 电子白板
结束 Homework Ask students to interview students in other classes, family members, and friends to try to discover some new ways of studying that haven’t been introduced in the book or in class. 电子白板
