精讲多练对划线部分进行提问
对划线部分进行提问分三步。
第一步，分析划线部分的内容，能用那个疑问词来代替。（what when how where who which whose等）
第二步，写下疑问词后，找句子中是否有be动词，有be动词的做相应的变化，没有be动词，用助动词do/does（已给句子是一般现在时），然后找句子中的主语，主语写下来后，找动词，注意必须用动词的原形，接着剩下部分照抄。
第三步，划线部分不能照抄，注意标点。
例句1：I have a pen pal.
1)分析划线部分，是名词，选疑问词what
2)写下what，找句中是否有be动词，没有be动词，选择助动词do/does；主语是I，选择助动词do, 主语I 改成you，动词have用原形
3)注意标点，句号变成问号。
4)问句：What do you have?
二 常见的对划线部分进行提问的题型
1 对主语提问
对主语提问时，只需找出一个恰当的疑问词代替划线部分；句子的语序不变。 （1）主语是人，用who代替。 1）Miss Zhang teaches us English . Who teaches you English ？ 2）Jim is a teacher Who is a teacher ？ （2）主语是物用what 代替 1）My bike is under the tree. What is under the tree .？
2）The apple is red. What is red ？ 3）There is a book in the bag. What is in the bag ？ （特殊事例 一般不用what is there 或what are there）
2 对谓语提问（或谓语和宾语提问）
1 一般现在时
例1 He eats an apple.
（1）do代替eat what代替an apple
（2）写下疑问词，主语是he，无be动词，选用助动词does，动词原形用do （3）问句：What does he do？
例2 She does her homework.
（1）do代替does what代替 homework
（2）写下疑问词，主语是she，无be动词，选用助动词does，动词原形用do
（3）问句：What does she do?
规则：在一般现在时中，对动词提问，用do代替划线动词；宾语用what代替；其句型结构是：
What do/does-------do？
2 现在进行时
例1 He is eating an apple .
（1）doing代替eating what代替an apple
（2）疑问词what，有be动词，写下is，主语是he，划线部分用doing来代替
（3）写下句子：What is he doing？ 规则： 在现在进行中，对动词提问，用doing代替划线动词；
宾语用what代替；其句型结构是：What is/are-------doing？
3 一般将来时
例1 He is going to eat an apple .
（1）do代替eat what代替an apple
（2）疑问词what写下，有be动词is, 主语he，照抄，be going to是短语继续写，动词eat原形是do
（3）写下句子：What is he going to do？
规则：在一般将来中，对动词提问，用do代替划线动词；
口诀： 对物、人名、职业进行提问用what 对地点提问用where 对关系提问用who 对价格进行提问用how much。 对几点几分进行提问用what time。 对不是表示几点几分的时间状语进行提问用when。 对年龄进行提问用how old。 对颜色进行提问用what color。 对身体状况进行提问用 how 。 对人进行提问用who（主格）或whom（宾格）。 对出行方式状语提问用how。 对星期提问用。what day。 对日期提问用what date。 对天气提问用what is the weather like---？或how 对相貌特征提问用what-be----like？ 对四季提问用which weather。

　　1. How old is Tom? 就年龄提问时,应用how old。
　　2. How does he go to school? 就动作、行为方式提问时,疑问词用how。
　　3. How many people are there in his family? 就数词five提问,并且这里people 作“人”讲,单、复数均为本身,故用how many提问。
　　4. How much milk is there in the glass?就数量多少提问,而且milk是不可数名词,故应用how much提问。
　　5. How many times does Li Lei watch TV a month? 这里仅仅就 six times a month 中的six times提问,故用 how many times 表示“多少次”。
　　6. How often does Jack see the movies? twice a week 表示频率,即“多长时间一次”，故用how often。
　对句子的某个划线部分提问，是句型转换的一种类型，也是中考的常见题型，它常考查学生对疑问句结构及其语序的掌握情况。现就此归纳如下：
　　一、对主语或主语部分中的定语提问时，语序与陈述句相同。其做法是：只需把原句中的划线部分用合适的疑问词替换下来，把句号改成问号就可以了。如：
　　1.对主语提问：
　　I helped her with her English.→Who helped her with her English?
　　2.对主语部分中的定语提问：
　　About ten people worked on the farm.→How many people worked on the farm?
　　但是，对"there be"结构中的主语或主语部分中的定语提问时，"there be"须倒置。如：
　　There're some books on the desk.→What is(there) on the desk?
　　二、对宾语(含宾语部分中的定语)、表语、状语提问时，应使用"疑问词+一般疑问句"的语序。其做法是：使用一个合适的疑问词放在句首，然后再把原句改为一般疑问句。如：
　　1.对宾语提问：
　　Tom is going to buy some books.→What is Tom going to buy?
　　2.对状语提问：
　　Lucy is going to play football after breakfast.→When is Lucy going to play football?
　　3.对表语提问：
　　These are books.→What are these?
　　4.对宾语部分中的定语以及"there be"句型中的主语的定语提问时，应把被修饰的名词连同疑问词一起放在句首。如：
　　①They have six classes on Monday.(对宾语部分中的定语提问)
　　→How many classes do they have on Monday?
　　②There're two books on the desk.(对there be中主语部分的定语提问)
　　→How many books are there on the desk?
　　三、对谓语部分提问时，使用"疑问词(what)＋一般疑问句"。其作法是：一般把疑问词what放在句首，然后将原句改为一般疑问句，在改为一般疑问句时，根据原句时态将do的适当形式放在删去的划线位置。如：
　　1. Wei Feng is going to dance in the park this afternoon.→What is Wei Feng going to do in the park this afternoon?
　　2. She is watching TV now.→What is she doing now?
　　3. He has learnt ten English words.→What has he done?
　　四、另外有些就划线部分提问的情况，应使用固定句型。如：
　　1.对天气情况提问：
　　It's windy today.→What's the weather like today?
　　2.对星期几提问：
　　It's Monday today.→What day is (it)today?
　　3.对日期提问：
　　It was December 31st, 2003 yesterday.→What was the date yesterday?
第一部分：对划线部分提问
1、对“地点”提问用where。 如：
(1).They are studying Chinese in China.→ Where are they studying Chinese?
2、就“时间”提问用when。如：
(2).She came to Japan in 1990.→ When did she come to Japan?
3、对“时刻、点钟”提问用what time。如：
(3).He often goes to bed at ten.→ What time does he often go to bed?
4、对“谁”提问用who。如：
(4).The girl is standing at the station.→ Who is standing at the station?
(5).They often go home with Tom. → Who do they often go home with?
5、对“谁的”提问用whose。如：
(6).I will meet my father. → Whose father will you meet?
6、对“年龄”提问用how old。如：

7、对“哪一个”提问用which。如：
