Key words: swimming, skipping, riding bikes.
Target languages: I like swimming\skipping. I don’t like riding bikes.
5. Teaching difficulty: 1. Can use “I like…or I don’t like…” to make sentences and show their own feeling.

Step 1.Warm up
1. Greeting
T: Hello. / How are you? /
S: Hello. I am fine, thank you.
1. Singing
The teacher play the recorder and lead students to sing an English song (old Macdonald has a zoo.).
Step 2. Revision.
1. The teacher shows some pictures & do some actions to help students review words and practice oral speaking.
T: Pay attention to me.(the teacher do the action.) Can you guess what sport it is?
S: (….guess…) football.
T: Well done! The sport is football.(the teacher shows pictures).
Read after me. football football.
S: football football.
T: Let’s continue guess. Attention to me. (the teacher do the action.). Can you guess what sport it is?
S: (….guess…) basketball.
T: Very good. It’s basketball. (the teacher shows pictures).
Read after me. basketball. basketball
S: basketball. basketball.
Step 3. Presentation.
1. The teacher shows some pictures about sports and learn new words.
(In this part, the teacher ask one student to stand in front of the class and give him the card and ask the students to do the action, the other students can guess what sport is it. )
S1: (Do the action of swimming)
Ss: (guess and say) swimming!
T: Very good! Now, look at the picture and read after me. Swimming swimming.
Ss: Swimming swimming.
T: (Smiling) I like swimming.
S: I like swimming.
T: (Crying) I don’t like swimming.
S: I don’t like swimming.
2. The teacher play the recorder and let students to listen to the dialogue from part1-2. The teacher play the recorder for 2 times, first time is for listening, second time is for reading and practicing.
3. The teacher also play the recorder and let students to listen to the chant from part4. The teacher play the recorder for 3 times, first time is for listening, second time is for translating, third time is for reading and practicing.
Step 4. Exercises
1. Pair-work
The teacher can let students to practice and in pair work of prat 3.
S1: I like play football.
S2: I don’t like riding my bike.
S3: I don’t like swimming.
(practice for many times.)
2. Listen and write letters from E to G.
Step 5. Summary & Homework.
Today, we’v learned some new words about sports, It’s a little difficult for you to read some words, I hope you can practice them after class. Homework: 1. Read new words and dialogues fluently. 2.Write letters from E to G.
