Jenny：hello， everyone. Oh, where am I ? (出示幻灯片纽约)yes, I’m in newyork. I’m an exchange student. My name is jenny. Today is Christmas. As an exchange student, I’m alone in newyork . Luckily, I have a good friend in new york. she is grace.
（grace出场）
Grace: hello, I’m grace. Today is Christmas. We invited jenny to spend Christmas with my family. Look, this is my husband, jim. He is drawing. And they are my daughters, lily and lucy. They are playing.（lily和lucy正在打雪球）
Jim: lily and lucy, come and help me!
Lily and lucy: ok, dad
Jenny: oh, here it is.(jenny到grace家门口，按门铃)
Grace: the bell is ringing. That must be jenny.（lily开门）
Lily: oh, it’s jenny.
Grace: welcome, jenny. It’s so nice of you to come.（两人拥抱）
Jenny: Grace, thanks for inviting me to come. A present for you.（jenny送上礼物）
Grace: （打开礼物）oh, beautiful. Thank you.
Jenny: beautiful present for beautiful man. Oh, a beautiful tree!（发现一颗树很诧异的问）
What date is it today?
Grace: it’s the 25th of December. It’s Christmas day.
Jenny: Christmas day?
Grace: yes.
Jenny: can you tell me the meaning of Christmas?
Lily: I know it’s our holiday.
Lucy: just like mid-autumn in china.
Grace: yes. Chistmas is to remember the birth of god’s son jesus
christ.
Lily: I heard of his story before. That’s interesting.
Lucy: but I love father Christmas best.
Jenny: father Christmas?
Grace: father Christmasis a kind of old man.
Lily: like this.
Grace: He travels through the sky on a sleigh(雪撬) which is pulled by reindeers(驯鹿) and loaded with(装满) presents. He enters by climbing the chimney(烟囱)and sends some presents to children. Children are very excited on Christmas morning and always wake up early.
Jenny: Have you got anything?
Lily and lucy: of course.
Jim: oh, that’s ok.（低声说） Do you know father Christmas is a singer like me?（很自信的说）
Jenny: really?
Jim: yes. That’s true. Let’s sing a song.（音乐起）
