【教学目标】
1.复习巩固Grammar time 中规则动词的过去式。
2. 通过说一说,演一演,对Story time 进一步学习和理解,并在此过程中练习一般过去时。
【教学重点】
通过对Story time中内容的进一步学习,让学生能够在熟练掌握动词过去式的基础上表演对话。
【教学难点】
对话表演中学生对语音语调的正确把握。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Revision
1. Revise the part of Grammar time
The teacher presents some verbs and let the students write their past form

2.Do some exercises

Step 2 Fun time
1. 教师通过课文图片的展示,引导学生以King 和Man1,Man2等的口气进行对话。教师可先与一名学生做示范。
2. Pair work.组织学生两人一组进行对话练习。
King: I like new clothes. Who can make…. for me?
Man 1 : My king, we can make new clothes for you.
Man 2 : Clever people……
Foolish people……
King: Make the clothes for me.
Man1 : My king , please ….
Man2 : Do they fit?
King: Oh yes. They fit well.
People: Look at the king’s new clothes.

Boy: Ha ! Ha ! The king isn’t ……
3. Get the pairs to act the dialogues. Ask two or three pairs to present it to the class.
Step 3 Consolidation
T: Now boys and girls, you can read and act the story. Let’s try to write the story, OK?

Show the pictures of the story to the Ss. And give the key words. Help the Ss tell the story.
