Finally, studies show that a meat-free diet is good for your health. The excessive consumption of meat can lead to high cholesterol （胆固醇）levels, and is also thought to be a major cause of serious health problems such as cancer and heart disease. In general, vegetarians are slimmer and they’re know to live six to 10 years longer than meat eaters.
