 1.【记忆口诀】    
基变序，有规律，多数词尾加-th。    
一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t, d, d。    
八去t，九去e, 字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。    
遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。   
序数词表顺序，一般须加定冠词。 
2.序数词的用法
1). 序数词要加定冠词the。但当序数词前有物主代词（his, her…）、指示代词（this, that…）等修饰时，则不必再用the。
如：  on the third floor 在三楼    on his twelfth birthday 在他十二岁生日这天
2). 序数词常用缩写形式，即“阿拉伯数字+个位序数词的后两个字母”。如：one → 1st;  second→2nd;  third→3rd; twelfth→12th; twenty-sixth →26th
3). 序数词可表示日期“几月几日”中的“几日”。如:  
 August 17th   8月17日   October 1st  10月1日
