My favourite city
As we all know， Shanghai is one of the most beautiful and modern cities in the world。 There are such interesting places as Yu Garden， People’s Square， Shanghai Museum and so on. If tourists visit Shanghai， they can go to the Bund for sightseeing. They can see many buildings with foreign styles. Also they can go to Huaihai Road for shopping. They can get many expensive and fashionable clothes there. I’ m sure if you visit Shanghai, you will love Shanghai.
The way to the cinema
Today I’m going to City Cinema to see a wonderful film Swan Lake。 City Cinema is not far away from my home， so I walk there。 First, I go out of my neighbourhood and turn right into Green Road。 Next, I walk along Green Road for about ten minutes. Then I turn left into Flower Road and walk along it to the end。 Finally, I turn right and City Cinema is on my right。 City Cinema is very big and nice. I think I will have a good time there。
Going Shopping
I went shopping with mum last Sunday. We went to Sunshine Shopping Centre. We bought a pair of jeans for my father at Cool Clothes. Mum bought herself a T—shirt with the stripes. I chose a dress at Girl’s Fashion. We paid 800 yuan altogether. We spent 2 hours at shopping centre and bought everything we need. We enjoyed ourselves.
I’d like to be _________
I’d like to be an engineer when I grow up. I want to design different machines to make people live better。 I'm good at drawing but I'm poor at maths now. I have to practise maths more。 I think if I work hard from now on, my dream will cone true。
Learning from model students
Kitty is a model students in our class. She gets on well with others。 Although she is busy， she often helps others. She works so hard that she is good at all school subjects. She does enough exercise to stay healthy。 She takes part in many activities in school. She never wastes time or pocket money。 We should learn from her.

My favourite season
I like summer best not only because I can enjoy a long summer vocation, but also for many other reasons。
In summer I can enjoy as much ice cream as I want. Whenever I eat ice cream, a feeling of happiness overwhelms me. Another reason is that I can wear different styles of beautiful skirts. Most importantly， my favourite flower， lotus is in full bloom in summer. I like it because “the lotus grows up from the dirty mud yet without being polluted”。
In a word， summer is the most lovable season for me。
Life in the future
I think that there will be big changes in our everyday life。 For example, when we are hungry, we will be able to take pills instead of cooking。 When we are free， we will be able to travel to other planets in a UFO。 It will be very cheap, just like taking a taxi now。 If we want to see what is like under the sea， we will be able to take a great ship。 Perhaps there will be a lot of cities and citizens there. I think it’ll be very easy to travel anywhere， not only in our world, but also in space and in the deep sea。 I like the wonderful life in the future.
My ideal school
My school life is interesting, but I’d like to see more changes in my school. I’d like to have a big swimming pool because swimming helps us to keep strong。 I'd like to have more trips to other places because traveling can enlarge our knowledge. I’d like to have a coffee bar so that we can relax ourselves after school。 In my opinion, these changes are not only wonderful but also may come true。
