第三章 感谢信
一、 感谢信的定义
感谢信（Thank-you Letters）是表达写信人对收信人的感谢、真诚的祝福的一种应用文体，通常为书面表达。内容上要充分表达写信人热忱的感激之情，简单陈述写这封感谢信的原因。通常语言上可以使用固定搭配和适当的形容词、副词来表示情感。一般要开门见山地表达写信的原因，不要过多冗赘；详细说明感谢的由来；表达对对方的赞美并在结尾再次感激，表示真诚的感谢。
二、 感谢信的常用表达
1、 段首常用语。
1） Thank you for(sth./doing sth.) ...谢谢做了某事。
2） I can never thank you more for...非常感谢...
3） I’m now writing to express my sincere thanks for...我现在写信向你表达...诚挚的感谢。
2、 段中常用语。
1） It’s so nice of all your family members...你们全家都太好了。
2） I’d like you to know how much you meant to me.我想让你知道你对我多么重要。
3） I not noly enjoyed...but also...我不仅享受到...而且...
4） It’s so nice to have a pen-pal like you... 有你这样的笔友太好了。
3、 段尾常用语。
1） Would you like to come and visit...I’d love to...你想来...我愿意...
2） I’m more than glad to provide you with accommodation as well as meals.
我很乐意为你提供住宿和饮食。
3） I sincerely invite you to...诚挚地邀请你...
三、 感谢信格式模板
Dear _____,
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for——(感谢的原因). If it had not been for your assistance in ——(对方给予的具体帮助), I fear that I would have been——(没有对方帮助时的后果).
Every one agrees that it was you who ——(给出细节).
Again, I would like to express my warm thanks to you! Please accept my gratitude.

四、 感谢信经典案例
1、 题目要求：
假设你是李华，你的美国笔友Chris帮你买了史蒂夫.乔布斯的纪念邮票并随信寄来。请你根据以下提示给他回信。
1） 喜欢，表示感激。
2） 回赠三张马年邮票；
3） 中国邮票展暑期将在北京举办，邀请他参加。

注意：1、100词左右 2、可适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。

Dear Chris，
Thank you for the stamps of Steve Jobs! I like them very much. It’s so nice to have a pen-friend who shares the same interest with me! I’m sending you three Year of the Horse stamps. Hope you’ll like them.
