Two Dragons Vying For The Ball
No clouds in the sky and the water fresh and pure,
for five years there hasn’t been such a bright moon in Yazhou.
Here I am on the top of Mengshan Mountain and playing the bamboo flute,
where the animals burst into loud cheers.
I heard that Mengshan enjoys great scenery
and deep in the valley are full of rosy glows.
When leaves in the early spring are trimmed by the icicles,
the aroma of finest flowers falls on the green jade.
Stewed by the water that is about to boil,
this tea is even better than the ones from new shoots.
If Lu Yu had tasted it,
he would label it the first class in the world.
Like the water in Yangtze River,
the Mengshan tea has the top quality.
What used to be presented to the emperor
have now come into the house of the ordinary people.
