M: Remembering is an important part in learning any language. She simply wants you to practice them over and over again until they’re fixed in your mind.
W: Right. I need more practice, but I find it rather boring sometimes.
M: Maybe you can improve your English by practicing tongue twisters.

Answer: Sure I do. Here’s one: I saw Susie sitting in a shoe shine shop. Where she sits she shines, and where she shines she sits. Actually, I know some much harder ones than that, but it’s better to start with an easier one.

Answer: Well, I think it’s important to have a set time when you review your English lessons every day. That way you can progress little by little, and it should result in a big progress after four months. But you have to stick with it.

Answer: It could be. Because you have to understand the plot as well as the language, you have to watch a movie for at least four times. Maybe after many times, you could remember the lines of it, which is of great help for your English.

On the Wrong Train
Mr. Green was going to New York by train. He took a lot of luggage with him. So he asked a porter to carry his luggage to his train at the station half an hour before. He was getting on the train and the train was moving. But the porter still didn’t appear. Mr. Green looked very worried and angry. He put his head out of the window to look for the porter now and then. Finally, the porter was running towards him without luggage in his hand, out of breath.
Mr. Green shouted at him angrily without letting him speak, “Where have you been? Why didn’t you come here earlier? Where is my luggage? Where on earth have you put it? Time is up. I nearly missed my train.” The porter stared at him and said, “I’ve looked for you everywhere, but I didn’t find you. Your luggage isn’t as stupid as you. Your luggage is on the right train, and you are on the wrong train. This train is going to Washington not to New York.”

Mr. Green was going on a trip to New York, and decided to take the train. Since he had a lot of luggage, he paid a porter to bring his bags to the train station 30 minutes before his train left. But when his train started to leave the station, Mr. Green was angry and upset. He had gotten onto the train on time, but the porter still hadn’t arrived. Then he looked out the window and saw the porter running towards him, but with no luggage.
Mr. Green yelled at him from the window, wanting to know why he was late and where the bags were. But the porter just looked at Mr. Green and replied that Mr. Green’s bags were already on the train to New York. Mr. Green had made a mistake and gotten onto the train to Washington.
