15 . “到达”的三种表达方式：①arrive at＋小地方，arrive in＋大地方 ②get to ③reach　　
⑴到达这里/那里/家①arrive here/there/home ②get here/there/home；此时不用reach
⑵到某人的家arrive at sb’s home, get to sb’s home, reach sb’s home
⑶不说到达具体的地方，只能用arrive。e.g. I’ll call you when he arrives.
⑷arrive on Sunday不能用arrive at/in Sunday。

重点语法 基数词和序数词
英语中的数次分为两大类：基数词和序数词
1.基数词
基数词是表示数目多少的词，其主要用法有：
①用于名词前表示数量的多少。
I have three pens.我有3支笔。
②表示时间
It’s eleven o’clock now.现在是11点。
③表示年龄
My mother is thirty-eight years old.我母亲38岁。
④表示价格
The bike is two hundred and thirty-five yuan.这辆自行车价值235元。
【温馨提示】
英语中没有表示万或千万等的专有名词，要表示万或千万等数字常借助thousand或million来表达。读数字时，and常用于百位数与紧跟的数之间。

2.序数词
顾名思义，序数词是表示顺序先后的词，其主要用法有：
①表示顺序
January is the first month of the year.一月是一年中的第一个月。
②表示第几次
This is my second time to visit Nanjing.这是我第二次游览南京。
③表示日期
Today is the fifth of March.今天是3月5日。
【温馨提示】
①序数词主要用作定语，通常在前面加定冠词the。但当序数词前有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格修饰时，不用定冠词the。
Mr Lin lives on the fifth floor.林先生住在第六层。
Simon is his third child.西蒙是他的第三个孩子。
②如果序数词前出现不定冠词a或an时，则表示“再，又”。
You’ll have to do it a second time.你讲不得不把它再做一次。
③表示编号时，可用“序数词+名词”或“名词+基数词”。

1. there be 句型表示存在，意为“某地有某物”。be 动词的数应与紧跟其后的名词的数相一致。
2. there be 句型表示存在，强调“某地有某物”；have表示所属关系，强调“某人拥有某物”。

【考法指导】
1.基数词表示数量，序数词表示顺序。
2.巧记hundred, thousand 和 million等词的用法。
hundred, thousand 和 million等词，当其前面有具体数字时，必须用单数形式；当表示不确切数目时，则用复数形式，并且后加of。可用下面的口诀帮助记忆：有s时有of，无s时无of。数词前面加，没有s没of。前面无数词，有s也有of。
3.基数词变序数词歌诀
基变序，有规律，结尾加上th;
123，特殊记，first, second和third；
八去t，九去e，f来把ve替；y变为ie，然后再加th；
要是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。
