Unit one Period 2 ReadingBoy missing, police puzzledThe analysis of this part:The reading text is a news story about a boy, whose disappearance was thought to be connected with a UFO. Though a lot of effort has been made to investigate the case, it still remains a mystery. The reading strategy of this unit enables students to become familiar with typical writing features in news articles and acquaint themselves with effective ways of reading those articles.Teaching aims:1.
