我叫苏逸轩，今年18岁，是一位来自湖南长沙长郡中学的考生。我有一个很好的家庭环境，爸爸是长沙鼓风机厂的董事长，妈妈是一位工程师。在我读初中的时候，爸爸的企业经常有外国朋友来访，那时侯爸爸总是有意识的把我带在身边，偶尔我还充当小翻译，虽然译的不太准确，可从那时起我就暗暗树立了自己的理想：将来要学好外语，长大后从事外事外贸工作。上高中的时候我有一位好朋友马雨龙，他妈妈是长沙一所重点小学的校长，那里有外籍老师，经常举办英语沙龙，每到假期我都参加他们的活动。通过这些活动，我收获了许多学习心得，同时也对英语学习产生了浓厚的兴趣。川外是一所有着悠久历史的外国语大学，培养了许多高级涉外人才。这令我十分向往，我希望能在这里深造，实现我的梦想。

Good morning teachers.
It is really my honor to have this opportunity for the interview. My name is Su Yixuan and I am 18 years old this year. I am a senior student in Changjun High School in Changsha, Hunan province. At school, I study Chinese, Math, English, history, geography, politics and physical training. Among these subjects I like English best. Now I would like to share my experience in learning English with you. When I was a junior student, my father was a president in Changsha Blower Factory and my mother was an engineer.
At the time many foreign experts would visit the factory. My father considered it a chance for me to practice my English and often took me to his office and I was occasionally asked to be the interpreter. Even though I was a little shy and afraid of making mistakes when I talked with the foreigners, I made up my mind to study English well in order to engage in foreign trade business. My interests in English also owe to my good friend. His mother is a headmaster in a key primary school. There are some foreigner teachers there. They held English salon at weekend in school.I took part in the salon regularly and my oral English has been improved greatly. Through the practice I have not only learned English but learned their history and culture. Now I have made my decision to study English as my major. Sichuan Foreign Language University has a long history with a good reputation in teaching. The university has cultivated successfully many competent students dealing with foreign affairs. How I long for the admission by the university. I believe if I can have the opportunity to study in the university, I’ll make great efforts to make my dream to come true.

General Introduction I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program. Education background In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department.
