story time
教学目标:
1、能听懂并理解story time中的情节和故事内容;
2. 复习本单元的四会词汇及重点句子
3、会唱let’s sing 部分的歌曲“Thunder”
教学重点: 复习本单元的四会词汇及重点句子
教学难点: 听懂和表演story time 部分的内容
学 习 过 程:
Step 1: warming up
1. Greeting
2. Let’s sing: “Thunder”
教师播放视频,学生跟唱歌曲
Step 2: lead in
1. 看图说单词:教师用课件展示天气图片,学生们说出表示天气状况的单词。结合单词卡,教师带读复习本单元词汇。
2.看图说句子:认真阅读表格里的天气信息并回答问题。

1. What’s the weather like in Beijing?
2. What’s the weather like in Shanghai?

学生齐读上述对话句子,复习本单元重点句型。
3.老师通过问“What’s the weather like today?”引出“What’s the weather like tomorrow?”老师解释“It’ll be=It will be”表示将要发生的事。
Step 3: presentation
1. 教师用课件展示zoom和zip的图片,向同学们介绍:boys and girls,look today we have two new friends. Who are they?
学生回答:zoom and zip
教师:yes, they are zoom and zip. “Hello! Boys and girls, nice to meet you.”
师生一起:Hello! Zoom and zip, nice to meet you, too.
2.教师引入故事背景:zoom and zip are talking on the phone. What are they talking about? Let’s enjoy the video. 播放故事视频,学生观看
3.教师帮助学生理解故事内容并点拨重点词汇和口语:have a cold, will , tomorrow, look terrible
4.学生回答问题:
Where is Zip?
Where is Zoom? How’s the weather?
What’s the matter with Zip? How about Zoom?
What’s the weather like in Dali?
What’s the weather like in Dalian?
5.教师带读对话,模仿人物的语音语调
6.合作探究
任务一
1. 小组内自由读故事。
2. 小组推荐优秀组员展示读,领读。
任务二
小组内三个同学分角色表演故事并请优秀小组展示。
Step 4: summing up/homework
1.把我们今天学的故事表演给家长看。
2.复习第三单元词语、句型和课文。
