能运用Mind-mapping复述篮球的历史、篮球的器械、篮球的规则、篮球的流行趋势等。

Step 2 Pre-reading (8’)
1 Talk about basketball players and NBA.
What do you know about basketball?
S: Yao Ming.
T: Yeah. Yao Ming is a famous basketball player. He plays for Huston Rockets, NBA. NBA is short for National Basketball Association. It is a professional basketball organization in America.
2 Look and say
Presenting pictures of playing basketball.
1) Now let’s take a look at the equipment: ball used for playing, basket used for shooting the ball in, backboard used for guiding the ball into the basketball, and the court.
2) Then, let’s talk about basketball games.
T: How many teams are players divided into?
Ss: Two teams.
T: How many players are there in each team?
Ss: Five.
T: Where can players play basketball?
Ss: They can play it indoors or outdoors on a wooden floor.

3. Scanning and mind-mapping
1)This passage can be divided into four parts, in which Paragraph1 and Paragraph 2 are in the first part.

3)Let’s read and draw pictures. Each team to choose one part. Read and mind map each part in groups.

六、教学反思
本人认为本堂课教学目标基本达到,引入简洁,学生参与积极;阅读前在谈论篮球中疏通生词,为后面的阅读任务减轻了难度。阅读任务由浅入深,由易到难,直至后面的思维导图都完成较好。遗憾之处为上课节奏较难把握,需加强学生课前预习的指导,同时需优化本节课的教学安排。
