1. Albert Einstein had one of the great minds of last century. 艾波特 爱因斯坦是上世纪有非凡长智的人之一。
Mind 此处是可数名词，指“智力， 有心力、智慧的人”，本句还可以写成：Albert Einstein was one of the great minds of last century.
2. Einstein is most famous for his Theory of Relativity. 爱因斯坦以他的相对论而闻名。
be famous for 与 be famous as 都意为“以……而出名；闻名于……”，其中famous=well-known, 后面都可以跟名词，但有区别。
1). 当主语是表示人的名词时，be famous as意为“以某种身份而出名”；be famous for意为“以某种知识、技能、作品或特征而出名”。
2）当主语是地点名词时，be famous for 意为“以某种特点、特产而出名”；be famous as 意为“以什么样的产地或地方而出名”。
3）当主语是事物名词时，be famous for 意为“以其内容、特征、价值等被人所知”
be famous as 则意为“以某种形式出名”
4）be famous for 后的介词宾语为主语的所属内容， 而be famous as 后的介词宾语与主语是同位成分。
如：France is famous for its fine food and wine.
China is famous for its silk.
Liu Huan is famous as a teacher, but he is more famous as a singer for all those beautiful songs.
