T: Boys and girls, this unit we will talk about “holiday”.
Every year we have two holidays, summer holiday and winter holiday. Do you like holidays? Yes, me too. I often take a trip on my holidays.
Step 2 lead in
Lead to the topic by guessing and creating a situation
T: Let’s look at those photos .Can you guess? Who is
she? Yes, it’s me.
Step 3 Key points
Present phrases by different ways.
a. Present the phrase “took pictures” by photos and mine
T: I took pictures on my holidays.
I went to …I took pictures. Did you take any pictures ?
b. Present the phrase “ate good food” by CAI and guessing
T: what did I do there?
(One Ss guess, and another Ss do some actions and help him
to find out answer)
c. Present the phrase “climbed a mountain” and sentences by audio text.
T: John and Mike took a trip on their holiday .let’s ask him
-Where did you go on your holiday?
-what did you do there?
(Write down the key sentences on the blackboard)
T: Oh, John climbed a mountain in Xinjiang .Did you clime a mountain before? (Would you like to express yourself with this sentence?)
