Step 1.Warming-up.
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song“A hundred little Indian boys”.
(通过对一首改编歌曲的演唱,既复习了上一堂课的数字单词,又活跃了课堂氛围,充分调动起学生的学习积极性。)
Step 2.Presentation and practice.
1. The sentences:What’s the time?It’s …I …at …
a. (CAI:闹钟响起)T: What’s the time?
Indian boys: It’s six thirty-five.
T: Oh,I get up at six thirty. It’s late.Time to say goodbye.
Ss: Goodbye,Indian boys!
b. A picking game.
(在这一环节中,设置闹钟响起,与印弟安男孩告别,承上启下,导入新句型的教学。再以小组比赛摘果子的游戏操练句型。以旧引新,过度自然,游戏激趣,学生热情高涨。)
3. The sentences: What time do you …? I … at …
a. Free talk
T: I get up at six thirty.What time do you get up?
S: I …at …
c. 转盘对唱游戏。
(利用多媒体课件展示形象的图画,给学生视觉上的冲击。改变枯燥乏味的操练,在欢乐的气氛中掌握所学新知。音乐转盘,双人对唱,极大地激发了学生的学习激情,学生上课更为专注。)

2. 谚语:Time cannot be won again.(时间一去不再来。)
(通过调查班级同学的作息时间,使学生将所学语言在生活中得到运用。这样,学生才会更好地组织思维,理解具体情景中所传递的信息和语言材料,从而促进英语理解、运用和表达思维能力的提高。另外,教育学生合理安排时间,珍惜时间。)
