教材梳理及重难点:本课时是要求学生利用所学的英语知识作自我介绍,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。本课时的重难点是使学生能用英语流畅地作自我介绍,逐渐养成用英语思维的习惯。
自学要求:通过课前自学,能理解并能流利地朗读书本上的范文,在书上填完相应的个人信息。
教学手段:录音机,黑板
教学过程:
一、预习作业及预习交流
预习作业:1、大声朗读P16的范文,用P16的句型结构造句。
2、在P17填上相应的个人信息。
3、翻译下列短语。
与家人住在一起________ 戴着眼镜________在学校_________
所有的功课_____________有一位新朋友_____ 居住在……_________
预习交流:检查学习预习情况(个别朗读,集体读,小组校对短语翻译)
二、交流展示及点拨提高
1、提供范文的录音和相关问题,让学生们找出相关信息,请学生回答。针对能力较强的同学,可以尝试让他们根据问题复述课文。

2、解释文中有关单词,短语以及句子,以便用在自己的个人简介中。

Hello, everyone!
不定代词everyone相当于everybody,指每一个人,作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数,不可与of连用;而every one既可指人,也可指物,作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数,可于of连用。
I live with my family in Beijing.
family在这儿是一个集体名词,意为“家人”,是复数的含义;当它表示满意“家庭”时,是一个整体概念,视为单数的。
live with sb. in sp意为和某人一起住在某地
My hair is very short, and I wear glasses.
wear 意为“戴,佩戴,穿”,常用的短语有wear a coat, wear shoes, wear a smile
glass作单数时,意为“玻璃”,作复数时,意为“玻璃杯”
④I like all the lessons at Sunshine Middle School, and I am good at Maths.
all the +名词,表示所有的、全部的、整个的……,如all the books, all his food, all the afternoon
all指三个或三个以上的人或事物,而指两个人或事物,要有both.
be good at 意为擅长……,相当于do well in
3、根据前面对于Daniel的学习,组织学生进行一次关于自我介绍的分组讨论,主要针对的是自我介绍所要包含的一些要素,教师在讨论中要给予引导。
(Now we will have a group discussion. Please work in groups and think about what we should include in a profile. )
4、 讨论完毕后,鼓励学生让他们说说各自的结论。随后教师做一个总结归纳。
(OK! Now I will ask some students to say something about what you have discussed. Any volunteers?....... How to write a profile about yourself? In the passage, you should write your name, age, birthplace, living place( school name, class and grade). Then you need to write how you look and introduce your hobbies or your favourite subjects. At last, you can conclude your characters. You can use some words to describe yourself.(helpful, polite, kind, shy etc)
5、 同桌互相交流各自的个人信息。
(I think it is an easy task . So let’s communicate with your deskmate……. )
6、让学生写一份自我简介。如时间允许,可当场朗读几篇。
(Boys and girls, now please take out a piece of paper and write a profile of yourself according to what we learned today. )
三、 检测反馈
教师要求学生在规定时间内完成当堂检测题。
