Lesson 8 Unit Review
教学目标:1. 将本单元所学内容呈现给学生, 熟练本单元的学习内容
2. 通过一些实例使学生在知识和情感方面都有所收获。陶冶他们的情 操,培养他们积极向上的情感态度和价值观。
3. 通过小组活动培养合作精神,并通过互相评价激发学生的兴趣
教学重点:1. New words and phrases of Unit 1.
2. With the teacher’s help. Take part in some activities in roles.
3. Describe interesting facts about the Olympics.
教学难点:1. Direct speech and indirect speech.
2. Describe your or his experience about your Classroom Olympics.
3. Read some compositions about poets. Make students be interested in learning English.
教学情景导入:
Hello, everyone. Lessons from one to seven were over. Can you look back and review these lessons? Ok, we’ll Lesson 8.
教学过程设计:
Step 1. Building your vocabulary. Finish these exercises.
A.

B 直接引语和间接引语
1. 直接引语是陈述句
变成用that引导的宾语从句。句中时态、人称、时间状语等要相应变化。
(1) 时态变化:向前推一个时态。
He said, “I came to help you.”
He said that he had come to help me_.
came-had come
(2) 时间状语变化
now- then today- that day tonight- that night
yesterday- the day before three days ago- three days before
next month- the next month the day after tomorrow- in two days
2.直接引语是疑问句
(1)把一般疑问句变为间接引语时,要用连词if或whether引导。主句中的谓语动词为said时,要改为asked,语序用陈 述句的语序。
She said to me, “Have you finished the work?”
She asked me whether I had finished the work_.
(2)引述特殊疑问句时,仍用原来的疑问词引导,语序用陈述句语序。
He asked Tom, “What are you looking for?”
He asked Tom what he was looking for.
(3)引述选择疑问句时,变成whether引导的宾语从句。
He asked me, “Do you want a pen or a bullpen?”
He asked me whether I wanted a pen or a bullpen.
3.直接引语是祈使句
根据说话人语气变成ask/tell/order sb. (not) to do sth. 的结构
She said to me, “Please sit down!”
She asked me to sit down
Step 3. Finish the exercises of Lesson 8.
Step 4. Divide the students into several large groups. Challenge the students to work together to invent a game that can be played by teams of five students using five different spheres. For example, they could invent a race. a throwing game or a balancing game. Tell the groups they have only five minutes to invent a game and then five minutes to play it.
Step 4. After the groups have played for five minutes, ask them to describe the rules of their game to the class using vocabulary from the unit and other English words they know.
Step 6. Homework:
1. Finish the remaining exercises in the activity book.
2. Preview the next reading of Unit 2 in the student book.
