湖北襄阳第二十四中学高一年级英语学科导学案 使用时间:2012. 设计者:李敏群 刘 旭 课时设计: 2课时 学科负责人: 小组: 学生姓名: 完成评价: 课题: Book1 Unit2 Using Language 学习目标: 1.语言技能目标:通过略读、查读理清文章脉络结构,理解文章大意。 2.过程方法目标:通过迁移所学,就某一话题展开讨论,并在讨论的基础上进行写作,提高写作水平和能力。 3.情感态度目标:(1)感受世界各国各地说英语的特色,进一步了解英美英语的差异,树立多元文化意识;(2)在小组合作互动中,增强学生的团队合作与分享意识。 【学法指导】 1、根据教材自主完成课前预习与课堂探究部分;同时,标出不理解﹑有疑问的地方。 2、注意总结单词短语的用法,注意知识的前后联系,形成知识树。大声朗读,疯狂记忆,当堂检测。 3、小组学习: (1)学科班长分配任务,小组成员先一对一讨论,然后组内合作讨论,动口动脑动笔。 (2)组长协助B,C层做好展示,点评,拓展准备。 (3)组长抽签分配任务,讨论展示方案,进行高效展示,质疑。 (4)组长调控好,确保每一层次的学生都能最大限度解决问题,以备展示和质疑,保证高效完成。组内不能解决的问题用红笔标出。 【课前预习】 Learn new words and phrases by Ss. Read the two dialogues and circle the words that mean the same. Language points 1. expression [寓词于境] 阅读下列句子,注意expression的意思和用法。 ① Try to remember the words and expressions in this passage . ② The expression in his eyes told me something went wrong . [自我归纳] expression是_____词,意思是____________________。 [拓展] beyond /without expression 无法形容,表达不出 2. recognize [寓词于境] 阅读下列句子,注意recognize的意思和用法。 ① I recognized her by her red hat. ② Lincoln is recognized as one of the greatest President in American. [自我归纳] recognize的意思是____________________________ 。 [拓展] recognize sb /sth as 承认...为... recognize sb to be 承认某人是... recognize:指原来很熟悉,过一段时间间隔或别的原因后又重新认出来。 realize:强调在经过一个过程后的了解。 know:是延续性动词,指相互间十分熟悉,十分了解。 3. play a part (in) 扮演一个角色;参与;充当作用 [寓词于境] Geography also plays a part in making dialects. 地理位置对方言的形成也有所影响。(教材P13) [拓展] play a role in 扮演角色;充当作用 act a part/role in 扮演一个角色;装腔作势 重点句型 4. Believe it or not, there is no such thing as Standard English. (教材P13) 信不信由你,(世界上)没有什么标准英语。 [重点句式1] believe it or not 在句中用作插入语,意为“信不信由你;我说的是真的”。该短语中的it无意义,与该短语类似的还有:take it easy(别紧张;别担忧;放松些)。 [拓展] 常用作插入语的还有generally speaking一般来说;frankly speaking坦白地说; to be honest说实在的;to tell you the truth说真的;老实说 [重点句式2] such....as....上述一类的;诸如此类的 [拓展] such as例如; such...as...像……这样的……; such...that...这样……以至于…… 辨析such ...that... 和such ... as ...:在such ... that ...中,that是从属连词,引导结果状语从句,在从句中不作成分。在such ... as ...中,as是关系代词,引导定语从句,在从句中常作宾语。 例如:He is reading such a book as you borrowed from the library last week. 他在读的书和你上周从图书馆借来的一样。(as是关系代词,引导定语从句) He is reading such an interesting book that I want to borrow it. 他在读的书这么有趣,我想借来读读。(that引导结果状语从句) 5. This is because in the early days of radio, those who reported the news were expected to speak excellent English. 这是因为在早期的电台节目里 ,新闻播音员被理所当然的认为说很好的英语。(教材P13) [重点句式] because 引导的从句作句子的表语。 This is because you made rapid progress. 这是因为你进步很快。 [拓展]because引导的表语从句和why 引导的表语从句的区别: 二者意义不同,because引导原因,why 引导相应地结果。 6. However, on TV and radio you will hear differences in the way people speak. (教材13) 然而,在电视上和收音机上,人们讲的英语也会有所不同。 [重点句式] the way +定语从句,way 在定语从句中作方式状语时,可用that, in which,也可省略;way在定语从句中作主语或宾语时,要用that , which . He is very rude. Don’t speak the way he (that /in which) did. The way (that /which) he introduced to us was too old. 7. So people from the mountains in the southeastern USA speak with almost the same dialects as people in the northwester USA. (教材P13) 因此,美国东南部山区的人同美国西北部的人所说的方言几乎相同。 [重点句式] the same ...as...和...一样....;与...相同... I have the same opinion as you (have). Jim looks the same as before.
