1、华泰财产保险股份有限公司二三年概况一、公司概况华泰财产保险股份有限公司是中国第一家全国性股份制财产保险公司,1996年8月29日在北京开业,注册资本金13.33亿元人民币。公司60余家发起股东多为实力强、规模大、效益好的大型企业和企业集团,覆盖了石油、电力、冶金、电子、化工、航空、建筑、轻工、船舶等24个行业,股东总资产超过1万亿人民币。华泰保险公司财务基础雄厚,偿付能力充足,专业技术和风险防范意识领先,为国内外数十万客户提供了值得信赖的保险服务。华泰是国内首家外资参股的财产保险公司,美国ACE保险集团作为公司重要股东和战略合作伙伴,为公司提供了多方面的支持和协助,使华泰的管理技术和经营水准向

2、国际化标准靠拢。华泰保险公司在全国26个城市设有分支机构,形成了面向全国的经营布局。二、发展战略公司根据“专业化经营,质量效益型发展”的战略方针,努力调整险种结构,改善业务质量,拓展目标市场,培育目标客户。面对日益激烈的市场竞争环境,坚持科学的发展观,依靠创新把公司做大做强。公司通过外资参股,进一步优化了股权结构,引进了先进的管理理念和技术、资金、人才等战略资源,在承保选择、风险管控、量化管理以及快速实施等方面,开始形成新的竞争优势,并且将在产品、销售渠道、服务和管理等方面加强创新,进一步提高公司管理水平和竞争能力。按照专业化分工、个人负责制和扁平化管理的原则,华泰逐步建立并完善了新的保险业务

3、管理架构。公司加强了对分支机构的管控力度,在核保、理赔、财务、人事、信息技术等方面实行垂直化管理。在一些增长潜力大的业务领域,公司还将通过建立事业部的方式,整合业务资源,协调步伐,加快发展速度。在巩固和发展现有财产保险和投资业务的基础上,公司积极筹备成立寿险公司和保险资产管理公司,朝着建立金融保险集团的方向发展。三、经营业绩 华泰保险公司自成立以来,保险业务稳健经营,健康发展;投资业务经营业绩突出,在业内居领先地位;公司保持着稳定的盈利和分红水平,为股东提供满意的投资回报。2003年是华泰保险公司实施战略转型,并取得显著成果的一年。公司全年保险业务收入8.47亿元,比上年增长7.08%,投资业

4、务实现收益1.39亿元,投资收益率5.25%,继续保持业内领先。根据公司财务报告,华泰2003年净资产收益率6.53%,税后资本回报率7.52%。截止到2003年12月底,公司总资产为56.49亿元。四、保险业务2003年是华泰在调整中前进的一年。公司坚持专业化经营、质量效益型发展的战略方针不动摇,树立了速度、结构、质量和效益相统一的科学发展观。在变化的市场中保持了清醒的头脑,扎实推进战略转型,取得了明显的成果和良好的经营效益。在个人保险业务方面,公司根据精算结果及时调整核保政策,使车险等业务的风险得到有效管控。在商业保险方面,加强了对承保标的的审核和查勘,对业务的选择更加严格。整体险种结构有

The assets of Huatais shareholders are worth over RMB one trillion.Huatai enjoys excellent financial strength and sufficient repayment capability, and is a leader in the insurance industry in specialized te

It provides trustworthy insurance services for tens of thousands of customers both at home and abroad.Huatai is Chinas first property insurance company that includes a foreign company as one of its shareholders. Development StrategyIn line with the strategic principle of pursuing specialized operations and seeking development focusing on quality and profitability, Huatai has tried to adjust its insurance product mix, improved its business quality, explored its target market and fostered

Facing an increasingly fierce market competition environment, it has persisted in a scientific development concept and tried to make itself bigger and stronger by relying on making innovations.Through the shareholding of foreign investors, Huatai has further optimized its stock own

16、ership structure, and introduced an advanced managerial concepts and expertise, funds, profess- ionals and other types of strategic resources. It has begun to form new competitive advantages in underwriting option, risk control, qualified management and fast implementation. It will intensify innovat

Operational PerformanceSince its establishment Huatai has expanded its insurance business steadily, achieved sound development, reported remar

It has maintained a stable profit rate and dividend rate, and provided satisfactory investment returns for its shareholders.The year 2003 is the year in which Huatai carried out a shift in its opera

22、tional strategy and achieved remarkable results. The company achieved a premium revenue of RMB 847 million in 2003, up 7.08% from the previous year and earned an investment return of RMB 139 million, with ROI of 5.25%. As a result, Huatai continued to take the lead in the insurance industry in this

23、regard.In accordance with Huatais financial report for 2003, the ROI hit 6.53%, and after-tax return on capital of 7.52% in 2003. At the end of December 2003, its total assets were worth RMB 5,649 million.IV. Insurance BusinessThe year 2003 is the year in which Huatai forged ahead in the course of a

24、djustment. Huatai did not waver in pursuing the strategic principle of persisting in specialized operation and development focusing on quality and profitability. It set the scientific development concept of integrating the growth rate, structure, quality, and profitability. In an ever-changing marke

25、t, it always maintained a sober mind and steadily pushed forward a strategic shift in operation, achieving marked results and high operating performance.In personal insurance business, Huatai, based on actuarial results, promptly adjusted its insurance verification policy to bring under control the

In commercial insurance, it tightened the examination, verification and check of underwriting targets, and became even stricter in choosing business. It improved its overall insurance product mix and achieved a 50% increase in its non-automo

27、bile insurance business in 2003, which begun the year witnessing the fastest growth since the founding of Huatai. The ratio of non-automobile business jumped from 37% in 2002 to 41% in 2003. Huatai also carried out a structural adjustment of its automobile insurance, increasing the ratio of underwri

28、ting profit-making automobiles.Moreover, Huatai quickened the pace of making innovatio- ns in products, completed the development of accident injury insurance products and export product liability insurance prod- ucts, introduced shop package that was closer to the demand of small and medium-sized c

Key Underwriting ProjectsHuatai is one of the creators of both the China Space Insurance Pool and the Nuclear Insurance Pool. Since its establishment seven years ago
