T: Today I will divide the whole class into 2 teams, Team 1(fox) and Team 2(frog). If you have any good performance, you can go up a step for your team, when you go to the top, you can pick a flower. At the end of the lesson, the team that has more flowers is the winner.

Read a story
1、       Teacher reads the story “What’s going on” with some pictures and asks students to listen.
T: Do you like reading stories?
S: Yes!
T: Me, too. And today I want to share you a story. It’s about a little bird. Let’s go to see what’s going on, ok?
S: OK!
2、       Let Ss “wacth ” the story with a question: Who helped the little bird back to the nest
T: Ok, children, now do you know who helped the little bird back to the nest?
S: box, donkey, dog, fox, peacock, doll, frog.

3、       Teacher requires Ss to fill in the blank according to the story, and then check the answer together.
