1．Finish the task in 3a
①Read the instructions and the main contents in 3a.Ask several students to tell their luckiest/unluckiest day.
②Get the students to write down their details in the chart.
③Ask the students to say out their stories using the details they have written in the chart.
2．Finish the task in 3b
①Read the key points in 3b.
②Write their stories on their own.Use their details in 3a.
③Exchange their writing work with each other.They can learn from each other and help each other.
④Check their work with the whole class.Get three of the students to read aloud their stories.
3．Finish the tasks in Self Check
Activity 1
①Teach the class to finish the task in this way.
First，read through the passage and get the main idea of it.Next，choose the words according to the contest.Pay attention to the word forms.Then，read the passage again and check the meaning and the spelling.
②Fill in the blanks on their own.The teacher walks around.
③In groups，check and correct the work with each other.
④Show the result on the board and read aloud the passage.

　　　This is the last period of the unit.In the unit，we will do a lot of work to practice words and expressions about telling a luckiest/an unluckiest day.Students learn to use the structures and the past tense.Writing is the most important in the period.The teacher could help the students write from oral practice and teach them to use the example sentence patterns.
