一、基数词考点
1. 基数词写法
①1—12的基数词是独立的单数，即：five，six，seven，eight，nine，ten，11_________ 12__________
②13—19的基数词以-teen结尾。如：fourteen，sixteen, seventeen等，但13，15，18较特殊，
13___________；15 _____________；18 ______________
③20—90的整十位均以-ty结尾。如：sixty，ninety，但20，30，40，50，80较特殊，
20___________30 __________；40___________；50______________；80______________。
2. dozen,score, hundred，thousand，million, billion等词复数形式的考查
表示确切数目时，其词尾不能加-s，其前面可用数词或several，some等修饰；
当表示笼统数目时，其词尾要加-s，且跟of连用，其前不能用数词，但可以用several，some等修饰。

二、 序数词的考点
①序数词一般由基数词+th构成。基数词变序数词可利用口诀巧记：一、二、三，特殊记，八去“t”，九去“e”，五，十二“ve”要用“f”替，见“y”要用“ie” 替，词尾加上“th”，若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以21 twenty-first, 101 one hundred and tenth

三、分数和百分数的考点
①分子用基数词，分母用序数词，当分子大于1时，分母的序数词要用复数。
1/3= a /one third 1/4= one/a quarter 1/2 = one/a half 3/5= three fifths
表示几分之几的人或物时，要用介词of。若作主语，谓语动词与of后的名词一致。
One thirds of the money was spent on food. One third of the trees have been cut down by the villagers.
②百分数用“基数词+percent”，percent 不可用复数，若表示百分之几十的人或物时，后加of；作主语时，谓语动词的数与of后的名词数一致。 注：百分之几的population后谓语用复数
About seven percent of the earth’s surface is covered by water. Ten percent of the children are absent．
Eighty percent of the population in China are farmers.

四、年龄、年代的表达法
①表示某人几岁的确切年龄，用“基数词+years old”或“基数词+of age”或者“at the age of+基数词”，也可直接用基数词。 五岁 five years old= five years of age = at the age of five = five
②表示某人几十多岁这样的约数年龄，用“in one’s+逢十的基数词的复数”来表达
某人十几岁 in one’s teens 某人二十几岁in one’s twenties
③表示在某个世纪的几十年代，用“in the+逢十的基数词的复数”。基数词可直接加s，也可加’s。
in the 1920s/ 1920’s in the 80s/ 80’s
五、数词的其他用法
①位于another，all之后，如：
Can you have another two cakes? The boy lost all the five pencils last week．
②位于such和more之前，如：
I can finish reading two such books in two days． Please give me one more apple to eat．
③在表示年级、班、课、房间，页数等的编号时用基数词。习惯上名词在前，基数词在后，且词首的字母要大写。即“名词+基数词”，也可用“the+序数词+名词”表示。
