Analysis of the Teaching Material
This class is to talk about introducing the class activity. Through learning,make the students master the words about daily life, for example write ,read, eat and so on, know the present participle。
Teaching Aims and Demands
Knowledge Objects:
1、Be able to understand the sentences and phrases of the present continuous tense.
2、Understand and be able to use the sentence patterns“What are…doing ? They are… ”then ask and answer。
3、Understand and be familiar with the dialogue, have standard pronunciations
4、Through learning the dialogue, cause the students have the ability of talking in English and interest in learning.
Ability Objects:
to train students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills using the target language.
Moral Objects :
Through verbs about daily life, ask the students know them about daily life and express with the verbs。
Teaching key and difficult Points:
1、understand the sentences of the present continuous tense .
2、understand and use the sentences “what are…doing ? They are…”,then ask and answer.
3、understand the dialogue and have standard pronunciations。

1、Watching and describing, listening ,speaking and writing reading method.

Get to learn the new phrases:
Read: 读 write:写
Sleep:睡觉 eat:吃
Listen:听 cook:做饭
Stand:站立 sit:坐
(2)Listen and read
Play the tape, Let the Ss listen and read the phrases, try to remember them.
Then ask the Ss to check each other in pairs.
Step4. Guessing game
Ask the Ss to learn these names of food by heart, then do a guessing game------
“where am I?”
“you are……?
“what am I doing?”
“you are……”
Step5. Sum up
Go over the points in this lesson, check if the Ss can catch These words and phrases .

Remember the new words and phrases in this unit;
Finish off the exercises in the exercises book;
