四．观点类文章
支持：1.People in favour of it argue that the interview is an effective way of selecting /picking out talented students. Compared with common exams, the questions of the interview are more challenging and flexible, as a result of which, no fixed answers are provided. What’s more, the abilities to think independently and critically can be tested in this way.
2.When it comes to this issue, some people subscribe to/are in favor of the view that……It is universally acknowledged that (普遍公认)interview is also a means of picking out outstanding/distinguished people. No fixed answers as there are（尽管没有固定的答案）, interview makes it possible to test the students’ competence of thinking independently.

反对：1.Meanwhile, the rest hold the view that so strange is the question that it makes students at a loss, unsure of how to respond to it. On top of this, it’s far from students’ real lives, resulting in the failure in testing their practical knowledge and competence.
2.Contrary to what has been mentioned above, quite a few people are opposed to the questions. When asked about such questions, most interviewees are at a loss, as a result of which, their knowledge and abilities can’t be shown off accurately.
3.Others, however, stand on the opposite ground. They complain that these questions are absurd and far from practical, making students at a loss.

我的观点：As for me, I stand by the side in support of the practice. I’m firmly convinced that we should develop in an all-round way to approach/handle different challenging problems. What we really value is our competence to cope with the situation when faced with difficulties. Only by this means can we have a thorough understanding of the students.

个人观点：
1．As far as I am concerned, I agree with the latter opinion to some extent
