【教学重点、难点分析】
1 、重点：掌握if 引导的条件状语从句
2 、难点：if引导的条件状语从句，主句用一般将来时，从句用一般现在时
【课前准备】
老师：制作游戏中要用到的写有故事开头的纸条与调查表格，并制作相关课件（见教学步骤）
学生：预习
Teaching contents: SectionA 1a,1b,1c,2a,2b,2c, grammar focus .
Teaching procedures :
Step One: Leading-in
1. Sing a song“If you are happy” 。
2. Show the sentences(screen)“If I sing a song,I will be happy.If you smile to me ,I will be happy...” .Ask students to complete the “if” Sub-clause “If __________ , I will be happy”.
Step Two: New words and drills
1. Learn the new words by using a sentence“Miss Hou will organize a party,if you go to the party, you will have a great time!”
T:If you go to the party,will you be happy?
S:Yes.
Show the picture of a party (screen) and teach the new words.
T:If I am at the party ,I will dance.What about you?
2. Practice the Main-clause “If I am at/after the party , I will __________” .
T:The pictures may help .(screen)
S:If I am at the party,I will sing a song.
T:If you do ,you classmates will be happy...
Step Three: Pairwork
1.Turn to Page34 and listen to 1b,check the answers and read it(screen).
2.Let students practice the conversation (1c) in pairs with the phrases in 1b and 2a.(screen)
A:I think I am going to …(stay at home, study for the test, wear jeans, go to...with..., make some food, take a bus to..., organize a party , play party games, help sb to...)
B:If you do,somebody will…(be happy/ sad/ angry/ excited/ tired/ relaxed/ sorry , have a great time, laugh, let...out...).
Step Four:Groupwork
1. Read the questions in 2b.
2. Listen to 2b and complete the chant.(screen)

S4:If I ride it to Luoyang,I will meet my pen friend.”…

Step Five:Summary
1. Have a summary with the sentences on the screen.
Ask:What’s the tense of the Main-clause / the “if” Sub-clause?
2. Do some exercises .

1.Show some pictures about enviroment( cut trees,catch and kill,air pollution, water pollution,earthquake,mudslides,drought).
T:In these years,many terrible events happened in our life.For example(show the pictures)...Do you want to stop the events?
S:Yes.
T:Discuss with your partners how to protect the world.
2.Let students make a survey“What will you do if you are a volunteer?”附2
3.Give a report like this:If Lucy is a volunteer ,she will clean the streets...
