学情分析:
四年级的孩子,已经有了一定的英语基础,他们在三年级已经学过五官部位的单词,也学过It has big ears and small eyes.等句子,还学过What’s your name? My name is…。他们喜欢游戏喜欢卡通,喜欢明星。喜欢合作的学习方式和具有很高的学习积极性。他们具有很强的形象思维能力。
教学目标:
1. 能听说认读并熟练运用:What’s his name?His name is...
2. 能熟练运用:He has... He is... 描述人体身材,发型及五官特点。
3. 能听说认读: I have a ... friend.
4. 能认读: This is his photo.
5. 能力目标:在教师引导下自主完成教学活动,能熟练运用所学句子,能和同学合作完成小组问答活动,对英语学习保持浓厚兴趣。
教学重难点:
1.重点: 运用句子 What’s his name? His name is ...进行人名问答。
运用句型 He has ...描述人体五官特点。
2.难点:句子 I have a new friend /a Chinese friend.的听说认读。
句子 He has short black hair and... 的听说认读。
教具:1课件 2自制卡纸课本人物John(面部没有画出五官) 3封面有单词的纸袋 ( 纸袋中装有男孩的五官部位)
教学步骤
1.Greeting
T:Good morning,boys and girls!

2.Warm-up
2.1T:Let’s look at the picture.(课件展示长短铅笔,高矮人物,长发与短发美女,复习形容词,为下面的学习奠定基础)
Big or small?Short or tall?Thin or strong?Short hair or long hair?
Ss:Small.He’s small.
Tall.He’s tall.
Strong.He’s strong.
Long hair.She has long hair.
Short hair.He has short hair.
2.2Chant
T:Let’s chant.(屏幕展示韵句内容)
韵句内容:Big and small,shortand tall.
He’s small.He’s tall.
Short and long,thin and strong.
He has short hair. He is strong.
Ss:Do actions and chant after the teacher.
2.3Review
T:Now,let’s listen and do.
Touch your eyes/ears/nose/mouth.
Ss:Do actions.
T:Show magic bags.
Look,a boy .But he has not eyes,ears,nose and mouth.Where are they?Oh,they are in the magic bags.Who can help him? Read these words.
Ss:Several students read the words: eyes,ears,mouth and nose. Then take out them from the bags and put up them on the boy’s face.

4.1T:let’s play a game(课件快速呈现几个人物的头像,让学生仔细观察,然后头像的五官在屏幂上消失,通过记忆力测试的游戏如下句型)
He/She has (big/small eyes/ears.)(在此要注意单复数表达的不同)
He/She has (a big/small nose/mouth.)
4.2.New words
通过课件展示国旗引导学习Chinese
通过课件展示本教师和朋友的合影学习a new friend/a Chinese friend
通过课件展示张鹏照片学习his photo
教师说,学生听,学生模仿。用卡片呈现单词,并多展示几组班级同学的照片,问学生“What’s this?’,让学生回答Photo,XX’s photo.
4.3.Game
T:Do you like a magic show?(屏幕依次出示卡通人物的眼睛、鼻子、嘴巴、耳朵、黑色的短发进行魔术表演)

Ss:Big eyes.
T:He has...Who can try?
S3:He has big eyes.
T:用同样方法引导学生说出其他句子。
He has a small nose/a small mouth/small ears.
屏幕出示动画字幕black插入short和 hair中间。(提醒学生注意俩次的先后顺序,突破难点)
再引导说出:He has short black hair and big eyes.
T:(屏幕出示卡通人物完整头像)What’s his name? His name is ...

画一个怪兽,并给他起一个名字,和同伴谈论怪兽的特点和名字。
教学反思:本课的设计注重循序渐进,把知识分成了一个个小小的台阶,通过游戏的形式让学生轻而易举的一步步走上台阶并完成学习的任务。每个教学环节都能紧紧吸引学生的眼球,让他们保持高度的学习兴趣。做到了重点突出。但是在新单词的复现上次数不够多,所以造成有的学生对photo一词的印象不深。
修订说明:导入课堂时,把教师和学生的对话改为听录音。原因:对话内容不能完全展示课文内容;播放录音可以让学生感受纯正的的语言和整体感知对话内容。通过问题张鹏长什么样子来激发他们的好奇心理,继而激发学习的热情。
由于photo一词,学生映像不深,课堂复现率较低,所以插入操练性问答,通过不断替换同学照片的问答,来让他们把机械操练变成实际情景的操练,改变枯燥无味的操练模式,让他们通过当堂学,用当堂用来达到掌握知识的目的。
