单元教材分析:本单元主要学习有关身高、体重、号码等的提问方法。由主题图对恐龙的高度进行提问导入新课,新课主要学习一些形容词的比较级,让学生通过朗读、比较的方式进行总结形容词比较级的变化规律,再通过书写的形式将所学的规律运用到实际操作中。
学情分析:
通过三年半的英语学习,大部分学生都有一定的英语基础。在本单元中教材设计了许多有趣的相关的教学内容,这些丰富的活动都来源于学生的生活实际,使学生能够在轻松愉悦的环境中体会学习语言、运用语言的乐趣。

知识目标:
1.能听懂、会说PartA、B中的对话,并能在实际中得以运用。
2.能听说认读三会单词dinosaur,hall,metre,than,both,kilogram,countryside,lower,shadow,smarter,become掌握四会单词younger,older,taller,shorter,longer,thinner,heavier,bigger,smaller,stronger。
3.能正确使用形容词比较级进行事物的比较。
4.能正确阅读英语短文,并完成相应练习。
能力目标:
1.学习对一些事物进行比较的句子;
2.能掌握本单元四会单词younger,older,taller,shorter,longer,thinner,heavier,bigger,smaller,stronger;

老师再拿两把长短不一的直尺教会longer, shorter,than.
