Blessed with variety of the natural environment, Tianjin is a good place to tour. There are also many natural scenes of beauty in Tianjin, known as Gu Wenhua Jie, Huangyaguan Great Wall, Haihe River, Water Park, Panshan Mountain and Food Street. There are not only the natural scenes of beauty, but also many special local products in Tianjin, like Goubuli baozi, 18th Street Fried Dough Twists. With the Beijing Olympics held, there are many changes in Tianjin, the Haihe River becomes clearer and the street becomes broader, and also a new stadium will be built with the name of “Drip”.
I was born in Tianjin. And I care about the development of my hometown. I will try my best to build a better Tianjin.

Different people have different hobbies. I have many hobbies, such as sports, reading, sing, playing the violin and keeping a diary. Of all my hobbies I like reading best. I read story books, magazines, newspapers and any kind of material that I find interesting.
This hobby got started when I was a little boy. I had always wanted my parents to read fairy tales and other stories to me. Soon they got fed up and tired of having to read to me continually. So as soon as I could, I learned to read. Soon I could read simple fairy tales and other stories. Now I read just about anything that is available.
Reading enables me to learn about so many things that I would otherwise not know. I learned about the wonders of the world, space travel, human achievements, gigantic whales, tiny viruses and other fascinating things of our world. In addition, books provide me with so much information and facts. They have certainly helped me in my daily life.
So I continue to read. Besides being more informed about the world, I also spend my time profitably. It is indeed a good hobby.

Well, as for my hobby, reading interests me most. Though some books are really long, they are really interesting and exciting.
I love reading The Lord of the Rings, a novel known around the world. The characters in this novel can use the magic power, and the atmosphere in the story is really enjoyable. I always lose myself while reading. I don’t like to read “to be continued” which makes me unhappy because I don’t know the ending of the story. I also hate the sentence, “The End”, when the story doesn’t have a satisfactory ending.
I enjoy reading novels very much because there are lots of interesting things I can learn. Maybe you’ll find it’s the same for you. If you read more, you can get a lot more knowledge. Why not have a try, my friends.

An Unexpected Experience
As you know, sometimes personal experience can give you a vivid and impressive lesson, which you shall never throw it out of mind. Let me tell you what happened to me last Sunday.
It was a normal Sunday on which my parents went out for business while I stayed at home alone. On such a relaxing Sunday, I couldn’t help watching a cartoon movie, which was one of my favorite activities. After I down-loaded the newly “Big Hero 6”, I sat on the sofa and enjoyed the movie. Suddenly, the door bell rang which annoyed me.
Through the peep hole, I saw a woman of medium height standing outside. I asked her who she was and she told me that she was from the telephone company and came to do a promotion which she said can help save more money and would started from next month. The only thing I needed to do was to pay 100 yuan first. I believed her and paid her 100 yuan. I didn’t realize that the woman was a liar until I called the telephone company to find out they had never sent anyone to do any promotion ever.
I felt so angry and sad. It was a lesson for me to remember not to trust strangers so quickly. But fortunately, what I lost was only money. I think I should be more careful next time. What an unexpected experience I had!

Here are my opinions about how to get along well with friends.
First, friends should believe in each other. You should be sincere to your friends, so that they will believe in you as well. Second, friends mean giving rather than receiving, so think more about your friends instead of yourself. Third, never laugh at your friends. Support them when they fail in something and try to help them when they are in need.
In short, making friends is a skill. Try to learn it and you will make true friends.
