Mrs. Smith has two daughters. Let’s have a look at what chores they do at home.
Tina started doing chores when she was about eight years old. At that time, she did the dishes with her mother and she had to sweep the floor. She is ten years old now. She is now doing the dishes herself and has to do the laundry, too.
Janet is four and she started doing chores this summer. She cleans off the table after dinner, puts her own clothes away, and sometimes she likes to help her sister sweep. She likes to help mop(擦地), but she fell down too many times. Her work is usually not perfect.
Last week Tina got her pocket money. But she lost it two days later, because she forgot to do her chores in the following two days. She will get it back if she can keep doing her chores every day until the end of this month .
