Teaching Process：
Step 1 Greetings
T: Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Wei.
Step 2 Free talk
T shows a picture of her flat.
T: Now look this is my flat. How many rooms are there in my flat? What are they?
Ss work in pairs and then answer the questions.
T: Do you know which one is my room? What’s in my room? You can ask me like this “Is there a/an … in your room?” “Are there any … in your room?”
Then T shows the photo of her room and introduces her room to Ss.

There is a/an … in/near/on …
There are some … in/near/on …
The … is/ are on/near ….
I like my room very much.
Step 3 Oral training
Ss draw a picture of their rooms and then talk about their rooms

I like my room very much.
Then Ss comes to the blackboard and introduces their rooms.
Step 4 Writing
Ss write an article about their rooms. (4-5 sentences)
T gives them some useful words and sentences
