5A Unit7 After school教案 Teaching content: Fun with English 5A Unit7 After school the first period. Teaching aims: a. Get the students perceive, understand and master the target language of present progressive tense. Develop students’ ability of communication on the basis of the target language. b. Language Objectives Target language: Is he /she doing sth? Yes,he/she is. No,he/she isn’t. Are they doing sth? Yes,they are. No, they aren’t. Teaching importance: a. Help the students use the target language properly. Develop students’ ability of communication. b.Vocabulary: read a newspaper, read a magazine, read a picture book, play chess, play cards, play with a yo-yo Difficult points: Got students using the newwords and the target language freely . Teaching aids: CAI、wordcards etc. Teaching procedures: StepA. Warm up a. Free talk b. Sing a song (We can sing and dance) c. Listen and do.(Follow the teachers do some actions) 设计意图:通过谈话和唱歌,营造一种民主、和谐、宽松的英语氛围,为学生架设一座由中文思维向英文思维过渡的桥梁,通过TPR活动,让全班学生能够做起来,动起来。在复习旧知的基础上为新课的学习起到一个呈上起下的作用。 StepB. Presentation and practice a. New phrases: read a magazine 1.Let one student read a magazine and the teacher ask the other students:“Oh,boys and girls,look!What is she doing? Is she singing ?/Is she dancing?” Ss:No,she isn’t. T:She is reading a magazine. 2.Read and spell the new word: magazine (Pass the magazine one by one.) 3.Try to remember the phrase: read a magazine. 4.Chant:read—reading—reading a magazine 5.Introduce the new sentence:Is she…? Yes,she is. No,she isn’t. 6.Read the word and sentences some times. T—S ask and answer. b. New phrase: read a newspaper 1.Let the students look at the screen again and ask:Is he reading a magazine? Ss:No,he isn’t. T:He is reading a newspaper. 2. Read and spell the word newspaper after the teacher. Chant:read—reading—reading a newspaper. 3.S1—S2 ask and answer.(Blackboard writing:Is he …? Yes,he is. No,he isn’t.) c. In the similar way to teach the phrase :read a picture book d.New phrase:play with a yo-yo. (Use a yo-yo and let the students play with the yo-yo) S1-Ss ask and answer. e. New phrase: play cards 1.Show the students the cards and let them look at the screen then the teacher ask:What are they doing? Are they…? Ss:No,they aren’t. T:They are playing cards. 2.Introduce the new sentence:Are they …? Yes,they are No,they aren’t. 3.T-S ask and answer. f.In the similar way to teach the new phrase:play chess StepC. Have a chant StepD. Play a game :What’s missing? 设计意图:多媒体课件声像并茂,能有效全面地刺激学生的感观,给学生全新的感受。本课的动词词组,如果要设计What’s missing 这样类似的游戏,在以往的课堂上往往难以操作,采用多媒体课件呈现之后,就显得轻而易举了。学生的兴奋点被调动起来之后,对于单词的学习也就不再显得枯燥乏味,真是事半功倍。这样的设计了也使本课的教学重点得到了很好的落实。 StepE.Work in pairs Let the students look at the screen and choose one picture to make a dialogue. (Use the sentence: Is he /she doing sth? Yes,he/she is. No,he/she isn’t.) b. Use the sentence:( Are they doing sth? Yes,they are. No, they aren’t.) StepF. Play a game Show half of the picture of “walk,sleep…”let the students guess: Is he /she doing sth? Are they doing sth? 设计意图:这个看似简单的游戏,实际是精心准备的,语言必须在真实的环境中加以运用,才能焕发出生命力,学生在玩游戏的过程中运用英语去交流,在玩中学,在学中玩,不知不觉提高了语言能力,同时本课的教学难点也就巧妙的化解了。 StepG. Do some exercises StepH.
