六年级英语教学案例 辛平小学 辛涛 Unit 6  The story of Rain. The first lesson Teaching style: new Teaching Aims: 1)、Let student master the words:stream, rain, cloud. sun. 2)、Let student grasp the sentence: 3)、Let student finish the task in Let’s find out 5)、Let student know some knowledge about water Teaching importance:  stream, rain, cloud, sun, vapour. Teaching difficulty: Where does the rain come from? Teaching contents: Let’s start. Let’s learn, let’s find out ,Let’s sing Teaching methods: reading  listening  talking Teaching tools: tape  多媒体 Teaching steps: Step1, warm up  (listen to the song “little water drop”) Step2, Preview. (practice listening to English and oaring English) ___“What’s the weather like today?” ___ “It’s ….” ___ “What’s this?” ___ “It’s water.” (show the picture about water and read this word ) ___“Every day we drink water, wash face, cook and so on.” “We drink water every day. We need water every day. What else needs water? ”  ___“Trees/Flowers/Animals/Birds need water. Fish needs water, too .” (show the picture) ___“Do you know where the water comes from?” ___“It comes from rivers, seas, rain, snow...”      (show the picture and help Ss answer the question) Step3, Let’s learn. ___ “What’s this?” ___ “It’s rain.” (show the picture about rain and read this word ) ___“Today, we’re going to talk about rain.” ___“Where does it/the rain come from ?” ___“Does it come from the clouds ?”(Ss talk about it and answer) “Yes.It comes from the clouds.” 1)Teacher the words: vapour stream and sun  (use the same method as above and write down them on the blackboard) ___“Where does the vapour come from?” ___“It comes from the stream.” 2)Help Ss read and spell the words again and again,then check up one by one. 3)Show picture about let’s learn. Let students speak out the things on the picture.    Ask: “What’s this?”    Answer: “It’s the sun/cloud/vapour/rain/lake/grass/stream.” 4)Teacher point at the picture on the blackboard and ask:    “Where does the rain come from?”      “cloud”……    After students know the sentence familiarly, call some students to ask and answer in pairs. Step4, play the game . 1)Ss play the games with their word cards in pairs.   “Where does the ….come from.”    It comes from….”  2)Call some students to act this dialogue in front of the class. Step5, Let’s find out. ___“What do we have in nature?” ___“Rivers /Clouds/Militants/Forests/Flowers….”  Show the picture in page 70 A: What can you see in the picture? / How many things are there in this picture? B: I can see the sun, trees, flowers, fish, rainbow, bridge…. Step 6. practice     Listen to the tape and do the exercises, then check up. Listen and write        I am a little water drop. I am in the _________. The _________ comes out. I am very hot. I am now vapour. I see many friends. I am now in a ________. It’s cloudy now. I am very heavy. I fall. I am now _______ Homework:  remember the words and sentences learned in this class.   后记: 通过本节课的教学,有98%的学生对生词已基本具备了听,说,读的能力,只有几个学生由于基础原因需要课后再加补习。对于本节课的两个重点句型,大部分学生也都有了初步认识,给第二节let’s talk 的教学已做好了很好的铺垫。美中不足的是本节课对生词的拼写练习还不够,下节课需继续加强训练。另外,多媒体教学和游戏教学法很大的提高了学生的学习积极性,提高课堂气氛比较有效。
