Teaching Goals:
1、Recognitive goal: Let students know the common mistakes they make in their daily writing process.
2、Ability goal: Improve students’ self-consciousness of corecting mistakes.
3、Emotional goal: Let students recognize the criterial for five ranking writing in NMET.
Teaching Focuses:
1、Help students know better the common mistakes they make in their writing to improve their consciousness of correcting mistakes.
2、Let student know the standard and rules of writng in NMET, thus they can improve their writing habit.
Teaching Difficulty:
Let students know three standards of writing in NMET to improve their consciousness of using advanced Vocabularies in the process of writing.

Step 1: Braining storms
1、Ask students to try to find errors in the writing they’ve been given in groups.
2、Have a competition to find which groups find the most errors.
Step 2: Presentation
1、Present the standard for five ranking writing in NMET.
2、Present three types of errors in students’ daily writing.
Step 3: Analyses and Explanations
Analyze three kinds of errors and ask students to fulfill some related exercises at the same time.
1、Grammer errors
2、Vocabulary errors
3、Discourse errors ( Analyze a passage and find the discourse errors in groups)
Step 4 Three strategies of high scores in NMET
1、Using complex sentence sturctures
Ask students to transform some complex sentences.
2、Being able to use advanced vocabularies.
Let students make comparisions among different usages of vocabularies and pay attention to what are advanced vocabularies.
3、Being able to use conjunctive words.
