S: Good morning, teacher! T: My friend Tom sent me a message yesterday. Let’s have a look. Tom can’t find his things. Where are they? Do you know? Yes, we don’t know. But his sister Helen knows. Here is a conversation between Tom and Helen. Let’s listen to their conversation and find where thing are. Step two: 【基础检测】 Where is the computer game? It’s 1._______the bookcase. Step four:【教师精讲(一)】 询问物品位置: Where is+n.(单数)? It’s +介词短语. Where are+n.(复数)? They’re +介词短语. 确认物品位置: Is it +介词短语? Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t. Are they +介词短语? Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t. Step five:【当堂应用(一)】 3a. Look at the pictures and complete the conversations. 看图补全对话。 A: Where _____ the keys? B: They’re _____ the ______. A: Where’s the _____ ? _____ it on your desk? B: No, it’s _____ the chair. A: Where ____ the pencils? B: I don’t know. _____ they in the__________? A: Yes, they are. Step six: 【质疑提升】 1. Give students 2 minutes to solve their own problems in previewing. 2. Discuss some difficult problems in groups. Step seven: 【教师精讲(二)】 1. 方位介词: on (在……上) in (在……里) under(在……下) in front of (在……前) behind(在……后) 2. 介词短语: the 介词+ 形容词性物主代词+n. 名词所有格 3. Summary Step eight: 【当堂应用(二)】 Make conversations according by using your own school things. T: Are you clear? Ss: Yes! T: Can you make conversations about this? Ss: Yes! Step nine: group work Discuss in your groups and put some things on the picture. Then make a report. 小组合作完成房间设计,并向大家作介绍。 Tips : 1. Everyone should put at least one thing. 2.
