探究一:by asking the teacher for help通过向老师寻求帮助
ask sb. for help意为“向某人求助”,是固定搭配,其中help是不可数名词,没有复数形式。
ask sb. for sth.意为“向某人要某物”。ask for意为“要求,请求”。
探究二:“by + doing sth.”表示方式
1.“ by+ doing"短语的含义是“通过……;凭借……”,其中by为介词,后面常接动名词短语,表示通过做某事而得到某种结果;在句中常用作方式状语,表示的方法、手段等比较抽象。也可接名词,意为“通过,用”,对采取的手段,交通方式等做出说明。

2.对表示方式的by短语提问
对由by引导的介词短语作方式状语提问时,疑问词要用how.

have conversations with sb.是固定搭配,意为“和某人对话”,相当于talk with sb.

探究四: pronunciation发音,读音,是可数名词。其动词是pronounce.

易混辨析:aloud, loud与loudly的区别:
aloud常与read, call等动词连用,强调声音不高,但能听见。如:She practices pronunciation by reading .
loud经常与talk, speak, laugh等动词之后,强调声音响亮。
loudly含有喧闹的意思,强调声音高,不悦耳,一般可以和loud互换。
探究六:practice doing 练习干某事。

What about...? 是一个固定句式,通常用来征求意见,提建议或询问消息,其后接名词,代词或动名词,可以用How about...来替换。

拓展:英语中表示建议的常用句型有:Why don’t you…? Why not…? Would you like to…? Let’s…?

“have/has+动词过去分词”是上学期所学_________________结构。

易混辨析:as well, too , also, 与either的区别:
as well位于肯定句末,不用逗号分开, too位于肯定句末,常用逗号分开,also位于be动词和助动词之后,行为动词之前,常用于肯定句,either,常位于否定句末,其前可用逗号分开也可不用。

Although虽然,尽管,作连词,相当于though,用来引导让步状语从句,不能与but连用,但可以和副词yet及still连用。
